In that case have you considered cementing in a row of bricks level with the lawn for easy mowing?

Some fanned fruit trees would make that wall look better.

Were you 12 at the time?

That's my thoughts on it.

I'm comfortable with Labour being ahead (that poll is a bit generous to Labour mind compared to other polls) for the time being. The last thing we want is Ed Milliband forced out. Like I say people will judge the Tories on the state of the economy through 2014 until the election. What people will want to see is a significant rebound AND some significant tax cuts. Oh and a little skirmish with the Argentinians wouldn't go amiss either.

Cheers for the replies. I'd heard venus was up there somewhere but had no idea what to look for. Just thought all the bright things were stars.

Not necessarily. Their achilies heel is the old "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer with the Tories" tagline. Stories like this and reducing the 50p rate of tax (put up by labour purely so the tories inheriited the policy) can accumulate in peoples perceptions. That said the next election will ultimately be decided on the economy and feel good factor in 2014/15.

Unfortunately I can see them beating Peterborough who are pretty sh/t. They may have beaten Reading, but Reading battered them and everything went against them. As for the game against Reading I can see it being a draw.

I think a lot of people will due to the cost of fuel.

The problem I have with what you're saying is that I can't see such info being leaked. I don't know your source and you obviously won't divulge.

And tell me what is the "star" about 4 inches above the cresent moon and what is the "star" about 2 feet below it? Are either of them planets? (yes i know my distances are a bit out)

Good turf makes a far better lawn than seed, but laying turf is an art. You need a fairly long plank to work on i.e lay a roll and then lay plank on newly layed strip and work on that. You could also do with a wacker plate (that's what I call it) which is basically roll width square bit of wood attached to a poll to go along the newly laid turn to firm it down. DO NOT EVER WALK ON NEWLY LAID TURF as you'll just get indentations. Needless to say prepare the ground well and rake it level. firm it with the wacker plater, rake it again etc because you want it flat and even. My advice would be to pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it for you tbh. For the sake of a few quid you'll have a decent job done.

I thought you sold hot dogs at bloomfield road on matchdays?
-
Norwich is always a good away day, plus i'll probably do wigan, Blackburn, Bolton etc as there's no hassle with tickets - just turn up and pay. Will also do Man Utd away (as a group I know pool their ST's and Saints is one of the least appealing games for them).

When we sing "it's all southampton" you must hold your hands above your head to be a proper fan. On this basis I must rule myself out because I can't be doing with all this sort of sh/t.

Was it Jo Moore who said 11/9 was a good day to bury bad news?
-
It's a big thing this discovery because in say 20 years time it could pay off our debts. Not to mention all that coal that Maggie left buried for a rainy day.

Hopefully, **** having our countryside littered with monstrous turbines. I'd much prefer to go nuclear.

If it wasn't this they'd be waving their season tickets because they're the bestest.

The UK reserves, according to one industry expert, could be seven times larger than the whole of the North Sea gas field. In a statement, the Energy Minister Charles Hendry also said it doesn't know how economically and environmentally viable it will be to extract. "At best, it's years away," he added. "But if it comes, we must be ready to take full advantage of it." That could be the signal for a new dash for gas that could transform the country's economy... but also our countryside. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-17491470
