I have some advice r.e buying foreign currency. There is a new fiddle involving ICE and Travelex and their subsidiaries i.e BUPA, SAGA etc (possibly more dealers). What they are doing is adding 1.5% for people paying with a VISA debit card (that's most of us) which they call a handling fee. This fee doesn't apply to mastercard and Meastro. It's in the small print and I only noticed the fee when the money was debited from my account. What this means is that when you do as search on money saving expert you think certain companys are offering the best deal when in fact they are not if you are paying with a visa debit card. I am now using a company called Online FX and they do not add on this hidden charge which makes them the best deal.

I'd like to change my opinion of Hayman. At the time I thought he might be genuine, but since then found out he'd had meals payed for by NI and then went to work for them. That's really unprofessional at best and very dodgy at worst.

My old dear had a half knee (I think it's called an oxford) and a full knee. From being in pain and having to walk with a stick she's spritely and walks unaided and has no pain (apart from other areas affected by arthritis). It will be painful and you will need to listen to what the doctors tell you. Once you've had it done you've got to get it working and push yourself. If you don't do this then it won't be as effective. My advice is get it done and your quality of life will vastly improve.
