Good historical films at least stick to the main facts. By changing the dogs name and the codeword (a core piece of the story - to appease the Liberal Elite) is a disgrace.

Historical films are at their best when they are accurate.

A dramatisation of an actual event should be accurate, especially an event of such historical importance. If some people find the Dambusters story offensive then that's their problem. I think we should all be proud of what was achieved and not apologetic.
