The ticket tax is a factor in this. Most people used to phone up and get their tickets, but now you've got to pay £3 extra to get a tickets over the phone/online or pay extra on the night it puts people off. We're living in a period of austerity after the Labour party maxed out on nations credit card so I can't blame anyone for being more careful with their money. Besides we have a lot of games coming up in a short period.

This is the start of a big 7 days for us where we play 3 games to huddersfields 1 (tuesday, saturday, tuesday). 3 points is a must tonight with two tricky away games coming up. Get 3 points tonight and let's see if Hudderfield start to rock. Tough game for Posh tonight away at Dag and red.

I always think our northern support is better though. You get more Saints fans from the Midlands/North who are more up for it because they haven't become lethargic from going regularly, you also get less familys, and those that do make the long treks are more dedicated. That said 1500 would be a good turnout for a night match for us. It just shows how our away support has really grown from how it was a decade ago.
