Not at this stage.
-
We had to pay it last time, but that was suposedly Wembleys fault. The fact Nicola Cortese took personal charge of the selling arrangements was a mere coincidence.
-
It's the ticket tax that has wound me up the most.
-
You've fallen into the same trap as Cortese in underestimating how far fans can be pushed.
-
It's a matter of principle. The £3 ticket tax is a rip off and unless we stand up to Cortese he'll keep hiking the prices and ripping us off. As Winston Churchill said: “You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.”
-
It won't. When the season ticket sales total is released phase 2 will start. If gates drop phase 3 will start and so on and so on. By trying to rip fans off and by treating them so shodilly Cortese has created this bad feeling and unless he backs down or compromises this matter will not be forgotten.
-
I bet Cortese thinks that in a few weeks this will all be forgotten.
-
In other words you're just on a wind up.
-
This can be applied to everything you've ever posted, but as you don't go to games I wouldn't expect you to care.
-
That was last years charter, this years charter bears no resemblence.
-
This thread is clearly a wind up as smirking saint doesn't care about fans being ripped off. Let's see if he's still so happy clappy when we're paying Chelsea prices in a few years time.
-
It's just a big joke to you isn't it? If you have nothing serious to add then stfu.
-
It's not just the lack of an installment plan, it's the rip off ticket tax too.
-
Cost of a stamp 39p Cost of an envelope 10p So £2.50 of the ticket tax is admin. That is a rip off however you try to paint it.
-
Thankyou Markus - shame about Cortese.
-
Nope, i'll continue going to Saints games and i'll pay the ticket tax, but I won't buy a new shirt and I won't buy any programmes. That is the point - you can carry on following the club and claw back paying the stealth tax.
-
I spent a fortune, so what. I've just spent a wad on a new specialist filtration system to keep my Koi's happy, but that is beside the point and the point is that the £3 ticket tax is a rip off. You come accross as a mug so i'm not surprised you don't mind being treated as one.
-
Buy from an electrical retailer such as Currys or Comet. I'm pretty sure you'll get a 0% finance deal.
-
I can afford to pay the ticket tax, but that doesn't change the fact it's a rip off. The only leverage we have as fans to tell the club we're not happy is to talk with our wallets. You may be happy to pay the ticket tax, or maybe you have no principles.
-
I've already said what i'm going to do Dulldays. I'm going to make a conscious effort to cut back on the "extras".
-
There is a vast swathe of happy clappers that can't see past their own noses. We're in the Third Division FFS - if Cortese thinks he can rip us off to this extent now you can only imagine his plans for the future should we climb the leagues.
-
It's the same for me, which is why I never fly Ryanair.
-
With the rip off ticket tax, and the shoddy treatment of fans who cannot afford to pay for season tickets in one hit, it is going cost a lot of us a damn site more to watch third division football next season. Cortese must be laughing his head off at the complaints because he thinks he has us over a barrel and the mugs will moan but they'll have to put up with it and pay more. However the extra spent on tickets can be clawed back by boycotting the club programme, club merchandise (including the new shirt), matchday hospitality, the travel club, and food and drink on the concourse. I'm not saying a blanket boycott is needed, but I for one will be making a conscious effort to spend less on the extras next season.
-
When you've been left a pile from daddy you generally don't have to.

Cortese is beyond criticism on here by the happy clappers.
