Squeeky "Oldham making all the passes and playing all the football"
-
Oldham are the better side so far. 61% possession!
-
to or too?
-
30 minutes and that's the best comeback you can come up with.
-
LOL, Huddersfield have a squeeky Dave Merrington.
-
Oldham are on top at the minute, the locals shout OUT OUT OUT.
-
Correct. Pigeon fancying, whippets and the war of the roses IS THE NORTH.
-
If Lallana leaves, and i'm not sure he will because he's a loyal lad, but if he does go i'd be disapointed in him if he joined an SPL club. The SPL is not a proper league IMO and any player that chooses to play there lacks ambition.

Oh dear, both the Huddersfield and the Oldham commentators are shocking. Why do Northerners sound so bloody miserable?
-
Not recently, i'd say the last time was the falklands when our superior fire power won the day. n.b The term "bombed our way to success" i consider to be a general term for millitary action as oposed to a mix of that and diplomacy. If you take it litterally then i apologise for not making my position on this clear in the previous post.

Oldham won at the weekend and lost narrowly (3-2) away at Brentford the match before. I don't think it'll be an easy game for Huddersfield and if the nerves are starting to jangle then who knows.
-
Give it a rest. You make yourself look sad enough with your internet hardman exchanges with Derry.
-
ha ha dopey.
-
Not true, you can bomb your way to success, but not in modern politically correct wars where the objectives are so complicated.

Piloting a helicopter gunship must be one of the best jobs in the world. I remember a few years back when Israel used to send them into gaza etc and i always thought "that's the job for me".

Anyone else going to be listening to the game on saintsplayer? I will be, c'mon Oldham.:smt071

SOUTHAMPTON: Charlton (H), Bristol Rovers (A), Yeovil (A), Oldham (H), Carlisle (H), Gillingham (A), Southend (H). We should beat Charlton as we've got the beating of them, likewise we've got the beating of Bristol Rovers, the other homes are against poor L1 teams so if we're focussed we'll beat them. It's Yeovil and Gillingham that look decidedly tricky to me. Both of these teams fans will view us a Derby (a bit like the Plymouth yokels) and as such will hype this fixture up and it'll be like a cup final for them. They are both also good home teams used to playing at their compact little grounds with their dodgy pitches.

I don't think many will make the trip tbh. -
Not strictly accurate. the away fans were housed in the Archers road stand for a while.

Excluding Lab/Lib/Cons what other party would you vote for?
dune replied to woodfc's topic in The Lounge
Well that's because most Nationalists will vote for the Tories because it's essential we get brown out. When the local and european elections come round again then that's the time to vote for your real party of choice. -
Saints v Southend could be pivotal for both clubs.

The day out at Wembley was nice but when alls said and done it was a tin pot trophy and everyone needs to focus on the important thing now - winning every week in the league and sneaking into the play-offs. -

I can remember being at this game at that attendance is lie from the club. It was a pay on the gate match and the Dell was overfilled with people having to stand on the steps.

It's a storm in a tea-cup. That nationalist vote will continue to grow. Nick griffin MEP commented “The BNP is larger than one or two individuals and represents the last hope of the British people for their very survival, and nothing will divert it from that task”.
