Pardew has been a manager long enough not to make stupid mistakes and when he does make mistakes he shouldn't be so arrogant that he won't change things before it's too late. At Brighton he got it wrong playing one man up front, yet he was that arrogant and big headed he didn't change things until 5 minutes from time. IMO this is just another example of him getting too big for his boots and he needs to lose some of that ego. He's going to same way as many managers who've been in the game for a while and unless he get's his feet back on the ground and stops being so know it all he'll end up like George Burley. By the very fact he's managing in League 1 it shows which way his career is heading! I think a lot of blame for the Saints Trust debacle must be directed at Mike Wilde. It was him that massaged the egos of the usual faces and pushed for all this "fan ownership" ********. The uber fans were taken in hook line and sinker and were so consumed with their new found self importance that they were blinded to the truth of the situation (or chose to to ignore it) that were merely being pacified by a man who held a tenuous grip to power.
