Maybe i've been a little hard on the DL and the ticket office in lieu of the good feedback from those on this thread. But Pre-registration is still a bad scheme. There must be a better alternative that doesn't require you to jump through hoops to get a ticket.

The fact the Argies are mouthing off now demonstrates that they need teaching a proper lesson. If they so much as fire a shot we should take the fight to them and make a pre-emptive strike on their naval bases. Criple them before they know what's hit them.

I'm afraid i've made my mind up now. He just doesn't motivate the team to respect the less glamourous teams. It's almost as if we turn up thinking we can win without giving it everything. There's no consistency and given that most games in L1 are against dull clubs in dull arenas we're gonna go nowhere with the attitude our squad has.

Norwich was a good win, but i'm judging Pardew on the whole season, not just 1 game. We improved week on week until November, but since then we've become complacent and stagnant.

I can accept a bad first half, but i expect the manager to fly off the handle if need be to sort it out for the second half. We failed to win not because we weren't good enough, not because of the pitch, certainly not because Wycombe are good, BUT because our players didn't do the job they're paid to do. That is pardews fault because this is his team.

Be interesting to see a poll on whether Pardew is the man to take us up.

I accepted this season was over a few weeks ago, but how we finnish it dictates how we're going to start next season. Looking at the lack of progress on the pitch since November isn't a good sign for next year. I've lost confidence that AP can deliver the goods and I think we're wasting our time with him.

Don't pull that one. It was crystal clear from the commentary that we were rubbish and we made them look good. That is not acceptable unless you're happy supporing a mediocre mid table L1 side.

NickG you cannot excuse displays like THAT and the one at Exeter. No progress has been made since mid November. Next season i can't see us being any different under this manager.

I don't think pardew has what it takes anymore. If he can't get us motivated and prepared for teams and pitches like Wycombe and Exeter then he's in the wrong job.

As you say the crucial part is not to be caught on the hop. British intelligence has moved on since the early 1980's and the CIA will be keeping us updated as they did before (although the US remained neutral in the conflict).
