You just click on the number of posts referring to this thread in the lounge and it breaks them down into how many users have posted how many posts. As for them getting away with it, I've maintained for a long time that there is absolutely no way HMRC can have them wound up because the courts won't. In these times, as they are an English football club in the top 3-4 divisions it means they are above the law. The interesting part is the long term aim of Chainrai. It's evident that he is still running the show to a large extent. They will only be liquidated if he or the Russians want to liquidate them, having got anything of value into their back pockets, which will take years. The next short chapter is the result of the storrie tax case but this is merely a token gesture to the great man whose financial lunacy has caused so much amusement over here. Things will start to get interesting when the CVA is supposed to get paid and whether they can get away with not having to pay any of it on a technicality. Sure the creditors can apply to the courts to have them wound up but whichever judge presides over the case will always rule in Pompey's favour. There's too much money and politics in the game for this not to happen. But like I keep saying, it's the debts that they continue to rack up that will always keep them in this hole and stop anyone credible from ploughing money into the club and ultimately saving them. I certainly don't think two facebook-broadcasting, mega-rich Russians with ties to the Mafia and with previous of dodgy financial dealings are these people. They've merely hopped on to the ride.

not as much as rallyboy, he's posted 820 times on this thread which is 60% of his total forum posts! As for total amount of posts on this thread I believe OldNick leads the way with 1366 posts! Only him, Dubai-Phil and pedg are above the 1000 mark so far
-
so we're averaging just over 20000 posts every year. This thread is older than my mate's daughter

Yep I think this makes 12. Ashdown Mokoena Pearce Hreidarsson Lawrence Mullins Norris Kitson Ward Rocha Varney Halford Plus there'll be the inevitable loans of Carlos Tevez and Samir Nasri et al.

It's difficult to believe but last season we absolutely dominated last season when the attitude was right in the squad. A big problem was the players thinking we were too good for league 1 and not putting the work in. As soon as Adkins banged a few heads together and got the squad attitude right we were practically unstoppable and the run of results at the end of the season were amongst the best in the club's history. People talk about Adkins record with S****horpe in the Championship but we have a far better team than they had. If the attitude is right we will simply be too good to get involved in a relegation scrap. I certainly think we challenge in the top half of the league next season. Another point is we'll be playing on far less 'ploughed fields' than in the last couple of seasons and poor pitches were something we consistently struggled with. It is another refreshing and very overdue time where I am feeling optimistic at the start of the season

TBF I think a lot of the abuse directed towards some of the pompey fans on here is uncalled for, although Corp Ho in particular does dish it out and inevitably takes a lot of it, whether through attitude and/or certain comments. When attempted justifications have perceived to be completely wide of the mark it's been responded to with abuse, which we could do without. (Sorry, it sounds like I'm looking for a part-time moderator job on here)

We do, it's just that you choose to ignore them and then claim people haven't answered your points. And with my fleeting speculative comment on Norris' wages (that I know full well I have no idea about what he earns but only going on press reports of Pompey's record of how much they paid certain members of their first team in the last couple of years) your making a big deal about debates that don't even exist, just to add content to your lengthy posts that contain many words and say very little. Looking back at what you posted back in the days of the boom and the FA cup win, they've found to be (with hindsight) absolutely laughable, no less laughable than many comments posted by Saints fans on here regarding Pompey's financial position. In a forum with this many members, pages and pages of crap are an inevitability. Problem is you get far more noticed than most people on here because you dug yourself into a hole back then and you just don't stop digging even now. Out of interest what was your take on this? http://www.rumafia.com/material.php?id=220 (Copy and paste will do if you have responded to it)

Because the News are basically Pompey's PR mouthpiece and their journalists are barely more clued up than anyone else. When was the last time you saw a story in The News that was critical of the club?
-
I don't believe Varney has even signed for them has he? If you take out TBH and the youngsters I make the current number to be 12 It's all adding up for them to play the same sob story to the FL again come squad registration time, so they can then sign Carlos Tevez et al. on loan to get it up to the required amount of squad players
-
In other news Leicester have signed David Nugent
-
You went to all that trouble to post on a messageboard to try and wind people up with multiple accounts? My, you are smart and superior
-
LOL at you nit picking at the smallest points and opinions on here and attempting to create a mountain out of a molehill to discredit people on here. I have never said I have ITK info on David Norris' wages and you know it sunshine. The alarm bells should start ringing when your club can apparently afford players other teams can't, who also don't have a CVA to pay. (That's if you have any intention of paying it and I severely doubt it) Why should the club's policy on Norris' wages be any different to the ludicrous pay packets you've been splurging on Lawrence/Kanu/Nugent et al. to stay still? I don't have a clue what Norris wages are I'm only speculating, but he wouldn't be earning a pittance if Ipswich couldn't afford to pay him. As for the concept of "transfer gossip" posts, I didn't see you make too many of those. All of your posts about signing Saviola and Al0-Fahim being ten times richer than Abramovich came from "your contact" As for your new owners you don't become as rich as Antonov or Abramovich in Russia through legitimate means. You just don't. The other thing you ask is why doesn't Antonov launder money through some of his other companies as opposed to Pompey. Hasn't it occurred to you the reason might be because he already has? The FSA have banned his bank from trading over here! But no, you go and lap it all up. Just like you did with Peter Storrie LOL
-
Or the creditors will kick up a fuss only to be pointed to some clever wording in the CVA that states they will get nothing if they don't have enough money, whilst technically adhering to the CVA That is the million dollar question
-
Be fair, anyone who has had Peter Storrie as the chief executive of their club is bound to have a very different view of the figures to everyone else
-
please no, as a heart wrenching plea to all of the forum members please let's not begin yet another debate on how Lowe ran the club. Let's keep this related to suits only. As for the debate about suits, personally I couldn't give a damn

It definitely seems to fuel your anger -
Not a bad idea. The other day I actually saw what must have been a group of local volunteers in daeglo jackets with the help of a couple of coppers set up a temporary speed trap in the most ridiculous of places on a main road near me. It was in such a place it was incredibly obvious and drivers hadn't had enough time to speed up to the speed limit after going through the traffic lights. It so bad a place that drivers were openly taking the ****. One guy slowed down to around 5 mph as he drove by it and another guy slowed down to about 15mph and then deliberately put his foot to the floor as he went past it, wheelspin and everything. One of the old boys actually shook his fist at him. I had to look the other way and try and not burst out laughing. The irony was if they'd have set it up 200 yards down the road it would have been in a useful place and been effective in controlling the speed of the passing cars.
-
An old neighbour of mine did better than that, he mounted a hairdryer on the back of an old knackered Ford Fiesta, painted a couple of bright green lines on the back of it and parked it outside his house. You'd be amazed how many drivers/riders got taken in by it and slowed right down, I think it only worked because his house was just after a bend in the road but it was genuinely effective. The traffic in the opposite direction was never travelling quickly due to the amount of cars parked on their side of the road, it was only from one direction where a 60mph went into a 30mph that a lot of drivers took little notice of.
-
First thing to come to my mind would be to have a word with the neighbours/people living on the same stretch of road and ask their opinion on it. If you find a lot of people in agreement with you write a letter to the local council/MP suggesting speed cameras or similar, and get as many of the local residents as possible to sign it.

I'd have emailed back something like, "Please consult a specialist team of doctors to surgically remove your head from your own posterior as soon as possible. Once removed please seek psychological treatment so you can be rehabilitated to act like an adult. Once the treatment is fully completed I am hopeful you may get a realistic picture of who you actually are" Sounds like a toff meeting that Lauren "am I bovvered" person

Here's one rather lengthy suggestion http://www.rumafia.com/material.php?id=220

Nadal's won the second set

Murray wins first set

+2 Why the BBC constantly show slow-mos of his ugly expressions between points I don't know, it's absolutely nauseating. Also when she's celebrating him winning a point Murray's mum has the most evil face I've ever seen
