IT'S A CONSPIRACY. LOL Give up, it's embarrassing You've misunderstood me. No not a conspiracy, just there is far too much politics and money involved for any PL or FL club to be accountable to the law. There is no way in these times a judge will wind up any club in the top 3-4 divisions. I wasn't referring to just Portsmouth, I'm referring to all PL and FL clubs and have made this statement several times in the latter part of this thread. Have a search if you don't believe me. In fact I'll save you the bother Try not to jump on statements and make sarcastic comments, it's embarrassing

Doubt it, and even if they could the judge would always rule in Pompey's favour

They certainly were on here because i was one of them. Back then they were called "Lowe Luvvies" even if they weren't even the slightest fan of Rupert Lowe. The term "Lowe Luvvie" became merelya label for people to bash anyone who agreed with just one of Lowe's more sensible policies or was skeptical about Wilde. On here you were either a Lowe Luvvie or a Wilde Worshipper and there was a culture that there was no middle ground, there was only one or the other. There was a big 'anyone but Lowe' campaign as soon as Wilde came along and many people wanted him just because he wasn't Rupert Lowe. That didn't mean no one questioned Wilde. During Wilde's tenure, the number of people questioning him began gradually increasing, especially when he wholeheartedly promised and totally failed to invest one penny of his own money into our club

It's only another 9 months before the big creditors are supposed to get the first installments of their money. This is where things will start to get interesting and this thread will liven up somewhat

Pulis made the bench!

How about Kenny Miller, unsettled at Bursaspor and wants to move back to the UK

With money I am a tight arse. I'll regularly give my loose change to charities on a pretty much daily basis. A few pennies at a time each time but it all adds up. The Rowans is one charity that's received hundreds of my spare 10ps and 5 ps I categorically refuse to give to charities whose reps surround you and start screaming at you to give to them, or use any similarly impolite methods

Interesting. I'm with admiral and need to renew next month. If that happened to me I'd go to confused.com or similar, take the cheapest quote from the decent quotes, ring admiral up and say you've been offered a cheaper deal elsewhere and can they improve on their price

even when Wilde & Crouch supported the decision as well
-
I said back then that the only way the club was ever going to move forward was when Lowe, Wilde and Crouch were all gone and I saw administration as almost a necessary evil and a calculated risk if we weren't completely bought out beforehand. After the Fialka Fiasco we really did land on our feet with Liebherr just at the right time, and we were very fortunate how it all turned out. Turning down SISU may well have led to administration relegation and -10 but going on how the Coventry situation is currently looking, accepting SISU may well have led to administration relegation and -10, just delayed for a few years. I thought turning down SISU was the right decision then and I still stand by it now. But there again, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Ah interesting. The days of the takeover threads and updates of where Paul Allen's yacht was moored on any given day. It was only 3-4 years ago and it almost seems to be in a different century
-
I always thought Tommac was a Derby fan on a very lengthy and clever windup who took a lot of people in, including bods from the Echo. Henrik Larsson never did sign did he Anyone remember sequoia? He was the real deal. .
-
Yeah SISU was around the time that Chorley was posting his OPEN LETTERS on here, I seem to remember it was the only thing that ever unified Lowe, Wilde & Crouch. I seem to remember there were rumours that a lot of money was heading Hone & Dulieu's way if the SISU deal had gone through. The forum was split in two one side was people wanting to snatch it because it was money and we were broke at the time, and the other half wanted to reject it and thought we could do a lot better. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but thank god we turned SISU down

Thought it was a new type of cleaning fluid

My favourite part in your emboldened paragraph is the word "some". In post 36357 of this thread is anothersaintinsouthsea's compilation of some of your previous quotes, not one word of the drivel you posted back then contained the words "gossip" or "rumour". At least Mero and Mack have a bit of a laugh and can post with reasoned debate and have a laugh, and fair play to them. You bragged back then with arrogance, have been totally found out, become a laughing stock and the funniest thing of all is that you just don't stop digging. You dish out arrogance and attitude and we just find it funny. "Odd" isn't the word quite frankly.
-
But it wasn't airy fairy "gossip" you were putting forward, it was what you claimed your inside source was telling you. You were trying to convince us you were ITK with all these stories just to crow, then when it all turns out to be absolutely laughable ********, all of a sudden "it's just gossip". At least tommac did it in such a convincing way on the main board, a significant number of posters on here were taken in by him when he said we were signing Henrik Larsson.

As said above you've got absolutely nothing to go on. It's not the retailers fault if you buy the wrong sized item, they've sold you a perfectly good product
-
Your obviously too young to remember Maradona and the Argentina side in '86
-
Well I must say they were very unlucky. Wonderful goal from the French just minutes from the end and it all goes wrong on the penalties. You gotta give the England ladies a lot of credit though. Also very refreshing to see an England football team putting in a lot of effort.

Not a bad strike either
