I heard the figure £600 and a ban recently which is still farcically low. Then they wonder why so many young drivers don't insure their cars
-
I think this is a big factor. I remember hearing when Usain Bolt met Cristiano Ronaldo when he was at Man Utd. Apparently Bolt saw Ronaldo sprinting and couldn't believe in his own words how bad Ronaldo's sprinting technique was. After showing him a thing or two Ronaldo changed his technique and became far quicker over 100m overnight. And this for the best football player in the PL at the time

Arsene Wenger - massive, floppy skinned hypocrite
JackFrost replied to Crab Lungs's topic in General Sports
Along with Fergie they are the two biggest hypocrites in the game -
That's completely untrue. He did reinvest it but spent it on galacticos like Mark Draper and Stuart Ripley

and then returned holding hands with Lowe

I'll re-raise you Olivier Bernard, he was supposed to be a LB Apparently.

I had a conversation with someone on insurance the other day. He read an article which said that something that is pushing car insurance up is the price of new high-performance cars. There are all the obvious factors like young drivers causing more accidents etc but this is the one that is never mentioned. So when for instance the Bugatti Veyron came out every single person's insurance quote had to be calculated so they'd be insured against hitting the most expensive car that money can buy. It's because million-dollar cars can now be bought and are on the market it's pushed all the car insurance prices up for everyone else.
-
Only way he does that is if he doesn't get a car At his age with no NCB he needs to swop those prices around. No more than £1,000 on the car and £3,000 on the insurance is far more realistic. For a first car Id recommend something that's small and German or Japanese.

It's purely because of the art of 'labelling' is either done by children or people with limited intelligence. When applied to people of different inherent beliefs that the labeller doesn't know on a personal basis be it "socialists", "the liberal elite" "the lunatic fringe" "Lowe Luvvies" etc. etc. it only illustrates a lack of intelligence more than anything else. Anyway LOL at this thread becoming another debate about Sharia Law/Muslims/race when the riots have nothing to do with any of these issues

I'll raise you when Burley tried to play the 34 year old RB Chris Makin at CB oh and when Jason Euell played CB
-
TBF Safri was a good player, Viafara was ok and Thomas was just the commanding defender we needed after Burley decided the best way to solve a severe central defender shortage was sign a load of midfielders (Jason Euell at CB ) Agree with you on the other players and a lot his other signings. Pele was a bloody awful CB but was ok in midfield, so no prizes for guessing where Burley chose to play him a lot of the time

How long before Dune comments on this?

I bet he embraced Wilde with open arms as well, purely on the basis that he was anti-Lowe

I think it really summed up today's society when I heard the first person to be up in court for looting was a 31 year old schoolteacher. With schoolteachers like that who needs unruly schoolchildren? I hope their dealt with properly by the law and I sincerely hope they get the sack
-
The vast majority of the looters I've seen have been white. Not that it should be an issue anyway. The riots have nothing to do with race. As for the original topic, the people that post those sorts of comments probably think Hitler was black

Pompey lose to Barnet at Fratton Park I wouldn't like to be in Cotterill's shoes when Mr Dubov calls him up to his office to explain that result. . .

Trouble reported in other places like Derby and Kent. In Kent there are numerous petrol stations refusing to sell petrol in cans. Their also closing shops up early in Wolverhampton. Ironically the Sony centre that got burnt down was run by Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank.
