He's a troll. Don't feed the trolls

Perhaps its just that the media *expect* HMRC to win all their cases & under-report the successes

Motto: Never argue with a fool, he will drag the argument down to his level then beat you with experience

I doubt it.

Well done. I particularly like the bastardised skate 'frownie'

Particularly if he catches sight of those charming posters issued by the phew tonight

From SSE's response to BBC Watchdog's investigation of energy suppliers http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2011/10/energy_switching.html "For the winter period (December to February), SSE will not disconnect the gas or electricity supply of any customer, unless there are issues of safety or criminality involved." Well, its not as if pulling the fuses would cause physical hardship. And next month is March, from whence SSE can presumably disconnect defaulting customers at their discretion.

Hark! Is that the sound of a fat lady tuning up?

Tell me again what they have to protest about, and exactly how they've been treated unfairly? On Boot Foot Other* *re-arrange to make a well-known proverb

Hmmm. If I was Chanrai, and I saw that, it would *so* motivate me to keep my itchy trigger finger away from the nuclear button

Even they can't dodge bullets for ever. They have to be lucky all the time: HMRC only have to be lucky once

Did anyone hear Lumpy's interview on Solent?

Got to be worth a punt

I *have* a son who is special. He has cerebral palsy and, like many who are similarly affected, has a terrific sense of humour. To be completely fair to the skates, they have that much in common - both crease me up, but for different reasons ;-)

Bless.

Comedy Gold: from the Snooze- http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey_set_to_apply_for_administration_1_3517660?commentspage=2 "Creditors include electricity suppliers have threatened to cut the club off, Mr Kubik said in an interview with the financial news service Bloomberg. He said that it may take ‘a few days’ for the courts to formally accept Pompey’s move into administration. ‘During the last week it’s been very difficult to trade’ said Mr Kubik. ‘Administration would allow us to get the bank account unfrozen and pay the electricity board, who’ve constantly been threatening to cut us off.’" Last one out of Farton Krap put the lights out - Oh.

pompey and financial fair play From a Millwall board: http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=369&fid=180&act=1&mid=2115336227 I don't Like clubs going out if business, but I hope they do...two reasons really. I think they have enough time to sort out the mess they are in and not add to it ! They still pay high wages to compete in this division.if they were any other business they would be gone by now or would have an embargo on what they can do. Secondly It's not the first time and I feel a Leeds penalty would be the minimum they should get of 30 points not 10! Also demotion to one of the lower leagues. All the small businesses that have lost money in there recent CVA. Don't give them anymore chances for mis management !

Playing Devil's Advocate - is that strictly relevant if the others don't have PPs? On the other hand, if the skates go without a points deduction for living beyond their means/trading whilst insolvent...
