No, the Stern John who scored 20 goals for us last season, R.. -
Because one of them would never accept that as long as he had a hole in his arse. I wonder if you can guess which one ?

And a good one it is too. We probably could have kept Stern.. -

Nope, wont slag you off - congratulations in putting a little of your money where your mouth is. Though I am somehow reminded of that Biblical tale of the old woman who donates a penny to the collection tray in a temple, and a group of rich old men s****** at her, only for Jesus to point out that she had donated more than them because it represented a greater share of her wealth than their donations... -
I am becoming more sceptical too. I am begining to think Lowe's "not a pot to piiss in" tactic was his way of grasping control of the football team's direction.
-
I am not sure I understand your post - you are agreeing that it is highly likely this was leaked by the club ?
-
Rubbish. Earlier in the season it was acting as the new regime's mouthpiece. Now that the writing is on the wall, and the Dutch/yoof experiement has clearly failed, the Echo has simply picked up on public sentiment and shifted its position to gaze a more critical (and objective) eye down upon proceedings at SMS. It is still, in the meantime, giving plenty of column inches to Wotte, for example. Of course, the new objectivity doesnt please Roopey in the slightest, and if the events that have been described here really happened at SMS on Saturday, he seems to have had his usual attack of temper-tantrums and foot-stamping.

What you mean like GM did yesterday ? Interesting, he continually hints at his wealth, and claims to love Saints, but chooses to do nothing. In my book, that makes him worse. The power to do something but accepts the status quo. -
Indeed. Personally I would be embarrassed about lapping up propaganda so readily..
-
If they are good, Lowe will publish them. If they arent, he wont. We will be able to judge how things are going simply from that..

Well, bankers really are the bunch of idiots we are currently taking them for then. How can anyone, for example, assume the attendance for Reading at home next week would be the same as Barnsley the week before when there is about 350miles difference in commute for the away fans ? I think you do a disservice to those account managers who deal with football clubs; I am sure they have some knowledge of the business they have been made responsible for financially superivsing, and will accordingly expect a string of good results to put bums on seats and increase revenue. -
How did I "grasp them out of the air" ? They were in the Echo. If they arent true, I would expect them to print a retraction in due course. Why do you REFUSE point-blank to consider the possibility that these details were leaked to justify the exclusion of our best players from the team ? Man, you are pig-headed...
-
Again, even if it were true (which it isnt) so f**king what ?
-
So : If it was made up, why havent the Echo retracted it ? The players involved all use the same agent, or the agents got together to conspire against SFC ? The players all use the same bank ? Which accountant ? Where ? I couldnt give a shiny turd what you think my motivations are, actually, though I find it bizarre that you assert that my posts must be incorrect or non-factual just because they are negative. Seems to me you suffer from the same "for or against me" mentality as your Messiah....

I dont think so, even if I have, its probably because my work tasks today are somewhat more demanding than sifting through back-catalogues of Crossroads.. -

You have twisted my post by trying to infer it was only Euell, and as such it may have been a source outside the club (maybe you were inferring Euell himself or his agent). I contend that the detail and number of players affected by this article means it could ONLY have come from within the club. As for your 5th columnist comment, I've notice that this sort of foot-stamping only comes from you when you've lost the argument regarding something negative going on at the club. At least its a very florid white flag....
