I wonder if we've inadvertently done Palace a disservice by keeping Pardew there for longer. Didn't someone comment in the build-up forum that some Eagles fans wanted us to win so Pardew would leave? I don't think this one victory for them will be a season-defining moment. They're still not very good. We were just worse today. That doesn't make us bad. Maybe it will give them a false dawn, make them play worse and get relegated = one more team who will end up below us. We just played badly this time (as well as some other times, eg. Hull). We've also played really well recently (eg. Arsenal, Everton). We're still a good team. Roll on Thursday.

Fantastic result and a brilliant game by us (bearing in mind I only saw the 2nd half - reports suggest I missed the better half). Yoshi gets my MoM because he finally showed how good he can be. Could've been any of McQueen, Bertrand, Davis as well. Forster was solid VVD reliable as usual Coco did ok in attack, but he's a bit lost in defence, isn't he? Long was unlucky - just lost the scoring touch for now, but confident he'll get it back Clasie was quietly good. Got a goal (I haven't seen it yet, as I only watched 2nd half) Subs Sims & Hojbjerg were excellent - full of energy and trickery. Can't wait for Tadic, Hesketh, Pied to be fit again.

Still hearing the fans singing. Great job. The youngsters were fantastic tonight, but most noticeable great performance for me goes to Yoshi. Solid at the back, gave VVD a bit of a 'rest' knowing he had excellent back-up (no disrespect to Jose, of course).
