Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi to Pompey.

That assault on Bellamy was hilarious.
It was savage, though Bellamy over-egged it.

Are the beeb showing every Team GB match? Personally, I'm sick of international footy after the woeful Euros.

I admit I don't know much about Clyne but it's exciting to sign promising young players rather than journey men. It would be refreshing to field one of the youngest teams in the Premier League - and impress.

Far from it:
Beattie or Lambert? Lambert
Ormerod or Sharp? Sharp
Jones or Davis? Davis (Niemi was better but 2/3 of the Cup Final)
Richardson or Baird? Close, I like Baird, but Richardson is probably better attacking
Lundekvam or Fonte? On the evidence of the Cup Final I'll take Fonte thanks
Svensson or Hooiveld? Killer
Bridge or Fox? Bridge
Telfer or Guly? Guly
Oakley or Cork? Oakley
Spiderman or Anders? Spiderman any day (I suppose it would be fairer to compare Spiderman with Oaks)
Lallana or CMFG? Lallana
So as individuals I would rate 7 of 11 current team better than the Cup Final team. Admittedly Killer and Claus were better as a pairing than the individuals, and Bridge & CMFG similarly, but in truth the current team is better than that team was in reality. Difference was WGS got a bunch of ordinary players playing above their capabilities due to their fitness. I haven't even taken Jay Rod & Steve Davis into account.
How can you even begin to compare half of those players when some haven't experienced the highest division? Beattie consistently performed well in a Premier League team and hadn't even tasted the lower divisions. Davis was considered a liability for Sunderland (though has improved dramatically with us, albeit not in the Prem). Telfer was an honest pro who put always put in a good shift, even when he was at Premier League Coventry, and went on to play for Celtic after us. Spiderman hasn't even played for his national team, while Svensson is still the captain of his!

To the tune of Red Red Wine:
Nathaniel Clyne,
So good you can see,
You know you're not alone,
In tearing apart,
Fratton Park.

The Twitter poster is mistaken. We've signed a sponsorship deal with Hargroves Cycles on the Millbrook Road service road. I was hoping we'd pull of a coup by teaming with March Sports, but I'm content.

The new Jelle Van Damme.

Rofl thread. Embarrassing reactions. It's a kit. I'm far more grateful we have a club to support in the Premier League. Have some perspective.
-
But will the players show genuine passion towards the plans?
-
Wigan will have a decent season. WBA and Norwich will struggle. Think Laudrup will be a disaster for Swansea.

Loved the first one. I had the loopy landscapes expansion pack too. I bought the third installment but wasn't impressed.
-
I'd be very impressed if Rangnick went to West Brom. They seem to be able to attract some good managers.
-
Tripe. The OP is notorious at starting dud speculation threads

The big fella that he mentions that offered to put him on his shoulders, is that the same big fella that managed to get in the dressing room and dance around as part of the post match celebrations?No.... it was actually the son of a former player
Tommy Widdrington??

indeed....look here, just like arjen robben IMO
Looks poor, IMO. Like the nippy kid at school who never passed.

I feel sorry for him. I can't blame him taking the job as it is the pinnacle of an English manager's career. He seems a genuine, traditional chap who is clearly proud to be given the chance.
But the subdued media reaction to his appointment is worrying. No fanfare, no saviour, it's like they are setting him up for the fall.

Damn you, Twitter! It had me going with the Bakerloo tunnel collapse yesterday!
-
There are reports of heavy rain and winds of up to 60mph tomorrow.
Will this have an effect on tomorrow's crucial tie?
-
Twitter's going nuts at the moment that the Bakerloo line tunnel has collapsed under the River Thames.
-
There are none yet because nothing's been decided.

Kiss goodbye to our promotion hopes. Can't see us beating Coventry. Nothing about ability and Coventry being relegated, this is football and it is always hard to call.

If he's injured, how are we going to get him "Saints fit" before the season opener? Avoid.
