Isn't the blue one a bit ... Pompey?

	But does he track back?
-
I know Leeds fans who say you'd be mad to think they'll come straight back up next year.
-
The clocks don't go forward until March 26th next year, so ... yeah.
-
Salisu and Moi were injured before the West Ham game; Long and KWP injured during the game. No-one's availability has been affected by being rested for the cup match, so I'm not sure what your point is?
-
Not doubting @Dan Sheldon, The Athletic's journalistic credentials, but the idea that he reported it before the pattern had been spotted by legions of EPL analysts is ... interesting.
-
Cycled past their training ground earlier. Two lads pinning up a protest banner opposite the entrance - I had to point out that they were putting it up back to front.

Not least because Murdoch isn’t involved with Sky anymore.
-
Anyone know if it's likely to be on tv anywhere?

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for LeicesterLordHester replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints Why would Vestergaard be a good bet for Leicester? Perhaps because his lack of pace is exposed less in a back three than it is in Saints’ back four?
-
Hasn't Maehle played midfield too? Seems unlikely we'd be in for him (even though he's been linked for ages) given he moved not that long ago.

New goalkeeping shirts revealed this morning - McCarthy modelling all three. Forster nowhere to be seen ... 🤔
-
Interesting that Tella made a be-line for Walcott after he’d scored his first goal on Saturday. You’d suspect there’s some degree of coaching/mentoring in his role at Saints.
-
Which signals are those, out of interest?
-
I hope you're not being entirely serious. It was a terrible decision, but it was hardly instrumental in the defeat.
-
Bit early - the game doesn't start until 8.15.
-
This was my first match at the Dell - Steve Moran hattrick before half time against Citeh. All those attempted two-footed tackles on Armstrong for the third goal would probably see 3 players sent off these days 😃 Southampton v Man City 1983

Not sure how that works out financially. Surely if three supporters pay £5 to watch a game, it's the same as one supporter paying £15. So if a lower charge gets many more people paying – and I'd say that paying a fiver is probably a more attractive prospect than using a stream – then the clubs have a decent chance of making more money.
-
He says nothing about leaving, it’s entirely conjecture on the journalist’s part.
-
I can't believe there won't be some agreement reached to stream all games. Even after crowds start to be allowed in (potentially in October), it's expected that stadia will be operating at a maximum of 30% capacity; and less than that if the design of an individual stadium dictates. So there's going to be a massive audience for the games who, if there isn't an official feed for the game they want to watch, will look for a unauthorised stream instead. There's a chance to make some money out of people who'd pay to watch a stream of their teams' games, and I'd be amazed if the clubs don't ultimately take it.

You don't think it might be our recruitment that was at fault, rather than all of Dutch football?
-
Yeah, didn't like it much myself. Much prefer the home Admiral kit we were wearing around the time of the cup final win.
-
Saints' social media for season ticket renewals heavily features the 85-87 Patrick kit with white shoulder pads. A hint that we're going retro again?
-
Club has just tweeted a new video with a #MadeForHeroes hashtag, and the Saints/Under Armour logos, with the date of 15th June –*looks like that's the formal kit launch.
