I agree with all of that but I do like Wanyama BUT we have overpaid for him, Lovren was only looked at briefly by Liverpool and passed over, we did not swoop in and do a Keeganesque deal, the fans need to get real, Cortese is very very conservative which is fine to a point but I have absolutely no faith in Cortese and Reed buying players, why would I have faith them? What have they done to assure me they are credible? Why have no players followed Potchettino over? Thats very worrying indeed.

Ambition is great but you have to pay for success nowadays, its cynical, crude and awful but thats the truth, Ambrovich succeeded and they have always been a far larger club than us, the ONLY way to do is to spend millions so you buy the best and you keep the best, its simply wont happen and for a club our size simply not sustainable, a pipe dream, we are never in these times going to out spend Liverpool, United, City, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal for any consistent period. I dont rate Ramirez for his input and the money spent on him, I dont think I'm alon on that either, I dont prefer Terry Hurlock types of players at all, I have always said he was a better footballer than given credit for thats all.
