So Cortese was lying about investment for Champions League? We need to invest millions or at least the same as others going for it, Liverpool. Everton and Spurs, were we ever going to invest as much or more than them? No and we never were and its a pipe dream to even imagine so.

Maybe because the "moaners" care deeply about the club and can see through all the ****e? I will be happier than all when we don't sell our best players or any players we require improve year on year with quality signings Not too much with all the promises that have been made to us?

Why would Cortese come out with things like this "Southampton is my baby" "Southampton shall never get relegated under my tenure" "We have a five year plan starting now with the aim and the end of that European football on a consistant basis" if he did not have absolute control?

This season is the real one as well with a show of intent, if he goes he cant be truly judged as will players be sold as a guise and ruse as he has left, will players now not be bought for our European adventure as he has gone? A bit convenient.
