  1. That they'll form a coalition with the Lib Dems?
  2. You could have tried to go and ask your questions..? Perhaps it is how the majority of the country are looking at the election.
  3. Not unless Victor Meldrew has put on A LOT of weight. I think Bearsy looks and acts like a funny version of Seth Rogan.
  4. I'm being facetious to a point on this - I'm not talking about your people who are inheriting millions of pound, they should be taxed, I just believe the threshold should be higher for it. I wish there was a way of means testing how the the last generation made the money, and awarding tax breaks to those who made money in a responsible, hard working way, but that is pie in the sky and not going to happen.
  5. To be fair, that is probably the most obvious question that could have been asked, surely?
  6. They're just examples of other money for nothing policies - I don't think they should be cut (well maybe the threshold for Child Benefit) but I also think extending the threshold on inheritance is the correct thing to do. Just, IMO, showing the hypocrisy of this money for nothing obsession some have with inheritance.
  7. A point I have made many times in the past...and been criticised for it. http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/the-real-victims-of-londons-housing-arent-the-poor-but-the-squeezed-middle-10216845.html
  8. In your opinion. Most people who inherit money will have paid tax.
  9. That's fine, but all opinions at the end of the day. I would presume that if and when you ever inherited anything, regardless of the law you would pass it all back to the state. Whereas I would keep it and spend it, putting the money back into the state through the economy.
  10. It's all opinions though, what you have written is also opinion, not fact.
  11. JSA - Something for nothing Child Benefit - Something for nothing Housing Benefit - Something for nothing
  12. So get rid of benefits altogether then as everyone should have to work for their prosperity?
  13. Won't get £25m for Clyne...But apart from that sounds good.
  14. People can see that, they just don't agree with it.
  15. Snap ICM poll: Cameron 44% Milliband 38% Clegg 19%
  16. He always does, he's a great orator.
  17. This is the worst episode of Live at the Apollo ever.
  18. Neither is the Greece one. Both misleading.
  19. Cost of living crisis is one.
  20. Oxymoron alert..
  21. If it's breathing, tap it?
  22. I don't think I strongly agreed on anything, apart from the one where it said that all poor people should be rounded up and shot.
  23. My favourite player of the last 7 years. Shame to see him now out like this, would have liked to have said 'goodbye'. Best of luck to him.
  24. See what you get now Pat. See if you've softened over the years...
