Morning all. How goes it? So after a good night's sleep, and a read of a few of Lou's recent comments I have the following to say. - Lou, sorry for having a go. I certainly did not mean to make you feel intimidated. As Pap can tell you, you really have no reason to feel intimidated by me, and i certainly don't want anyone to feel like that. I wasn't following you as such, it just seemed like a bit of antagonism to me that if you came on here to forget the conversation, you still mentioned the fact you were having it etc. Anyway, I apologise. - I'm not sexist. I'm really not. You may or may not believe that, it's just that we have slightly different ideas as to how big a problem it is in society, obviously through different life experiences. Why do you say that? Been on these forums 10 years and never fallen out with any women on here or in my life generally. I'm very easy going in fact. Some people just rub me up the wrong way, men or women. That's life!

No joking here, I think that's probably right. With the fact that men between the ages of 21 and 40 are the highest risk for depression related suicide, it would be good to knock that one on the head.

I think they should all be sorted out at once in all honesty, have a zero tolerance of abuse...or only leave it for really bad situations, like the abuse to the Physio, Hillsborough/Munich chants, Wenger chants etc.

I was going to join that but then I had to fill in forms and send a cheque (I don't have a chequebook anymore) and it all became hassle. What we need is a simple group of fans in London that all'sit in one email group, and someone sends out an email everytime a game is on.

To be fair, I don't actually care if people agree with me, I have my opinions and I am happy to debate them. My main issue was that although there is some sexist abuse at football, there are far more types of abuse that need to be stamped out first, due to them being more common, ie homophobic, fatist, diasablist etc, and that not all people take offence in the same way. Well, I certainly wouldn't have laughed at the Beckham chant. The point is the audience. Not many people will hear the GYTOFTL chant, especially directed at women ( this is mainly shouted at fat blokes at football), whereas there is are a massive number of people who watch Take me Out, which as you say is crass, and is most certainly sexist.

First of all, thank you for replying to me, at length, in reference to what I have written. At least we can debate this now. It is the more extreme porn I am talking about, and it is something that I think society needs to treat very carefully. I think the amount of threads on sexism over the last 6 months or so have, whether intentionally or not, made it seem like sexism is on the increase. As Lou said, most women suffer from regular sexism which can often get nasty of intimidating. This to me says there must be an increase.

I think you may be right actually, Pininfarina styling as well I believe. Be interested to see what good examples are around.
