  1. Andrea Ranocchia from Inter is available for €10m and wants to move but Dortmund won't pay more than €7m. Anyone who's watched Italian football - CHDAJFU? Would Astori be better?
  2. Probably true, but what about the FA Cup?
  3. I know this has been covered before, but with Gaston and Dejan out do we need to make some moves in the market? Obviously this wouldn't happen until we appoint a new Chairman but for me it should be a priority. If Dejan were out for the rest of the season (god forbid) would anyone on here be comfortable with MP's third choice CB Mr. Jos Hooiveld playing for a prolonged stretch? So, who is an 'affordable' and available CB? Wouldn't mind Cheikhou Kouyate who we were linked to in the Summer and obviously the Kurt Zouma, Kyriakos Papadopolous type FM wonderkids would be nice if unlikely to join - any other suggestions?
  4. Could the removal of stripes have been part of Cortese's Machiavellian plan? That way when he quit and got new owners while simultaneously manipulating the media against KL, the new owner could come in and bring back both NC and stripes - instant fan support!
  5. Sounds too good to be true, as he's been meeting all these other clubs he probably has an interest in football, unlike KL. Could be just the thing to take us to Cortese's "next level" - roll on the return of the Don and a new 5 year plan!
  6. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/9121438/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed Tim Sherwood making friends on the a South coast
  7. On the subject of potential new owners, what about Wang Jianlin? Richest man in China ($14.2bn) and runs the Dalian Wanda group which owns, among other things Sunseeker. So strong links to the club and the city and a working relationship with Cortese. Also looking to grow presence in England - bought Sunseeker in June and announced plans for a billion dollar 5* hotel in London in June. Football club and the subsequent shirt and stadium sponsorship could be a next step in growing the brand in Europe and would make a good target for Cortese as new backers as wouldn't be too involved and might let him run the show again...
  8. Fulham sold for £150m, but then a majority of that price is a couple of acres of riverside London real estate. Media reports all seem to value at £100m
