I see they're even discussing charging a fiver to use the site now. Wonder where they got that idea from Still in skatesmouth that probably only equates to about 25p nowadays.

778,000,000 KM = 778,000,000,000 meters distance 300,000,000 = speed of light. Cross off the 0's = 7780/3 seconds = 2593 seconds = 43 minutes 18 seconds

No, it's 8 minutes to the earth 40 minutes or thereabouts

And how much will that cost? The council can't just gift the land. Then there's. Planning, BHAFC took years to get this for Falmer, that's without even thinking about building costs. We didn't get change from £35m and BHAFC was over £90m. Makes £1m a year to Balu look positively bargain basement.

That's an extremely low yield bearing in mind the risk involved. Would have thought triple that and a third of the value probably more likely.

Might be worth someone penning a letter to the PFA to get their views on the potential restraint of trade

Very disappointing

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/business/local-business/birch-gives-pompey-bidders-extra-two-weeks-1-4217736 Story here

@NabilHassan79 on twitter reporting it now - will be up on BBC website soon according to him

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/appy-players-are-staying-until-january-1-4217723 Wonder what the FL will make of this - seems to make a laughing stock of their transfer embargo. Again.

Think the clue is in his job title to be honest - buy the lot and pray the trust goes tita up, then develop the whole lot.
-
Wonder what PCC would make of that attitude in view of their proposed high risk £1.45M loan

Have to say T B's been. Dry quiet this week considering there were two revised bids put in a week ago. I would have thought he would have wanted a deal with one of them done sooner rather than later. Opinions?

http://m.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/appleton-to-step-up-search-for-financial-assistance-1-4205272 Appy still doesn't get it. And Neil appears to have forgotten about the transfer embargo. That said, a fair proportion of those leaving comments do seem to get it.
-
Willing to be corrected, but from memory it's around £250k per month or thereabouts. Good work if you can get it.
-
Think that might have been me last night. Odd really as thought he'd blocked me weeks ago.
-
'Twas I, and it's still there for me.
-
That's that then.

Gonna struggle to get to page 4 at this rate :-(

Seems it's back up again now, just in time to announce prices for the JPT trophy berby with Bompey have been 'slashed' - OK I know it's on TV but, they're the bestest fans and all, thought they would have paid whatever to see their team.
-
Steve, am I reading this right, are you suggesting the PST are contemplating jumping onto bed with a bankrupt, and possible fraudster. After all they have spouted off about the FAPPT> It just beggars belief - least it would if it wasn't P*mpey.
-
Just dropped my lad Off at school and am now. Just awaiting a call. Takes me back to when mine came - went out the night before and got hammered!
-
2-2. At this rate it'll be the hope that kills us lot rather than them.
-
Absolute fools if so.

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-new-boy-insists-it-s-not-about-the-money-1-4180843 Another story in Pompey Pravda where the headline and article bear no resemblance to each other. Of course it'a all about the money Neil, and reading what Williamson has actually said, it's patently obvious P*moey outbid Sheffield Utd.
