So, any chance of BC just holding his hands up and saying 'it's a fair cop' and opting for liquidation, or is that just too easy an option? Also wonder whether Birmingham may consider postponement of the FA Cup game until PFC's legal status is resolved?

You don't support Havant & Waterlooville do you??

Oh, please let the Revenue boys win. Maybe there really is a god after all. And he's red and white.

Imagine the uproar and possible legal ramifications if they didn't get the -9 point penalty and somehow managed to finish outside the bottom 3. While I've been a bit worried about some of the statements I've heard in the media, I really don't see how the EPL can get away without the points deduction.

Administrator just spoken on 5 Live: Debts around £78M Looking at each player sale as fees from transfers quoted in press may not have been correct once sell on fees/other costs taken into account Hoping to have to only sell 1 or 2 players in the summer (presumably the rest will walk!) Solicitors looking at a way to appeal the -9 points - thinks hope is slim Land around ground owned by Gaydamak, Ground owned by Club Chanari has mortgages for 17M against the ground No word on any interested parties. Didn't coma across particulalry well.

Nothing wrong with that. It's the hope that'll make then feel even worse at the end of this all. Long slow suffering.

Just spoken to a Seagull mate - he thinks their club felt they were more likely to get more people there on the Thursday than on Easter Saturday. Very strange!

I had it down as Satuday 3rd. Shown on BBC fixtures af 'off' on that day so assume it was moved at some stage?
-
This has been moved to Thursday 1 April - Can't see a post on it. Does anyone know why? Comes very hot on the heels of the JPT final too.
-
That's two words Phil! But you are right, I don't think his hard line will soften in future.

Trouble is he steps down in March :-( http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jan/31/premier-league-debts-panel

So does anyone know the timetable tomorrow - what sort of time will they be in court for the administration hearing?
-
One would assume if they are going to do anything it'll be before admin? Looki like kingsland red managed to answer this before it was posted.
-
Didn't we do this for a while, or has my brain turned to mush?
-
In a 'they're toast, just liquidate them now and save years of misery' kinda way? ;-)
-
Can't imagine anyone wanting to get within a thousand miles of this one to be honest.

Very talented girl. Impressive, and obviously moving for those close to it. Thanks for the link.

In depth 'fit and proper person' test my ar$e!

Most commercial rents are on a full repairing and insuring basis - i.e. the tenant is responsible for repairing and insuring the building.
-
Wondered how they would react. hopefully they have VERY good lawyers.
-
Opinion seems to be that they must be able to go into admin, despite what we thought earlier on here. Only time will tell.
-
Seems a reasonable conclusion, one in which everyone except the poor sod of a supporter, and Terry the builder, comes out of this without losing face. Of course, if Barclays DO have some charge over the ground it throws the best laid plans straight out of the window........................ Curiouser and curiouser.
-
All this up to now could look like a walk in the park compared to how messy this could get over the coming days and weeks!
-
Which sort of brings me back to my original query as to whether they are 100% certain they can enter Admin. HMRC have been very quiet throughout all this. do they have an Ace up their sleeves?
-
Let's hope Chanari is employing the same set of Lawyers then. :-)
