Am I the only one seeing this? It's for Verizon using my zip. I'm assuming the left hand isn't talking to the right hand at NBC.

Absolute bo11ocks. I worked there for 9 years, the Sports desk has complete autonomy, no different to the broadsheets. Every transfer rumour story is supplied by an agent, family member, club source or the player themselves. Usually to get a bigger contract, pressure to start more games rather than actually getting a move. However every single transfer story has a source. To say it's made up is bang out of order, the Sports scribes spend decades building the contacts they have.
The Sports team have barely any contact with the Main News/ Features teams. The Sports Editor at the Sun is one of the most important people at News UK - as demonstrated when I saw Nicola Cortese visiting Mike Dunn (Sports Editor and Sun worker for about 30 years there, ie before Murdoch rocked up) in his Office to beg him to stop calling us "South Coast Club". Immediately after that meeting the stupid ban on photographers was lifted.
You're probably right about the stuff in the front half of the paper tbf.
Not trying to sound pedantic but wouldn't that still be a made up story?

Well I only have stupid comcast, so all the games are on their ****y on demand channel - if I'm lucky. You can always watch it on the website if you have a valid NBC subscription...
It'll be on the regular ol' NBC Sports channel, no extra time, just NBC Sports.
Thanks for the link. Appears that a Spanish channel MUN2 might show it in a golgolgoooooooooooooooool kinda way, but the info on the channel itself, at that time, doesn't specify it's the saints game. There are two empty extra time channels, i dont get it... Perhaps it'll update tomorrow...I Could try the website to be safe but it means being awake by 7........
I put in a random Las Vegas zip code on the NBC Game Finder site and it says it'll be on Ch 220 for Directv. They'll also be showing it on a Spanish channel but Robbie Mustoe's condescending tone can be heard in English on the regular NBC Sports channel, again, it will not be on any overflow channels.

According to Connor Armstrong in his blog of his tour of the new facilities, the 'Markus Liebherr Pavilion' sign on the outside of the new building is in the exact same font (no, not Jose!) as the official Liebherr company font. Make of that what you will ...
I believe "Wingding" was originally proposed but the 5 1/4" floppy disk character was harder to acquire than first thought.

Sad to see him not being used. He's like a once-mighty battleship laid up at anchor, slowly rusting and waiting for a call to action that's never going to come. Soon all that will be left are memories of past glories.

An update...
I tried laptop with Display Port to HDMI adapter then HDMI cable from adapter to spare HDMI input on TV. Laptop was wireless connected to router.
It worked fine. A little more jittery than the main PC but maybe that's the wireless connection.
I'm going to try a long ethernet cable from laptop to router to eliminate wireless interference and speed problems but even without, the stream is watchable on TV.
The good thing is that its all easily cleared up after the match so extra cables are only temporary.

I think I might still try Hutch's Raspberry Pi as a backup though as that sounds a fun project for me to get involved with my sons.
Someone more technically inclined can weigh in but when I've streamed (via HDMI cable) from laptops to TVs they've always been jittery. Not sure if this is a result of the limited processor trying to create an image for a 55 inch tv or something else but I've never had the problem with a PC. This occurred while watching Premier League and MotoGP so it wasn't a site issue.

Since they don't show Southampton on tv, other than games against Liverpool, Man U, etc, I watch all Southampton games via my PC. I run an HDMI cable from the PC to a Samsung TV. I know you don't want to do this but I recommend this method. You can buy a 3m (or less) HDMI cable for cheap (www.monoprice.com, not sure if shipping to the UK would still make it cheap) and you can put the PC next to your TV. My TV is actually my monitor but if Mrs. Mr. Dad doesn't want cables then you can just move it back after the match.

Just loaded up the PLP and mine is still working but then again I never used it yet. as OOS is pretty much crap these days need to find a new way to watch it. I have access to Comcast from my friend in the USA but never see the saints match on it.
You need to go to NBC Sports Live Extra to watch it with your buddy's Comcast info.

All good stuff. ...I don't live in the UK but having an anglophiled view on the matter of supporting Saints, I chose to say I was a Saint_Abroad. Meaning, my view point was that of an outsider, I am a wandering sole always looking to get to St Mary's Stadium, and find a decent pint.

I was lucky enough to visit this past May and it's a fantastic building. It's amazing to stand in Westminster Hall and think about what those medieval wooden angels, hanging overhead may have seen over the years. I'm hoping to see a Commons session next year.

OK getting a bit obsessed - intended to level 3 guardians up (largely as Xur never gives me anything hunter related from his engrams)
Bought the sweet Alpha lupi chest armour from him on Friday and now am completely kitted out in exotic/legendary - taking a while to level up past 27 and seem to be spending most of the time at the moment farming helium coils, spinmetal and iron to upgrade the armour
Had a crack at vault of glass at the weekend and that looks very cool indeed but just need to level a bit more
we are chrislisatommat on PSN if you want to have a crack at a daily/weekly heroic or get together for a strike in the future currently 27 bordering 28 Hunter Bladedancer being favorite
And now enjoying PVP now I've got the hang of it
It's taken me ages to get my Vanguard level up, then I changed it to New Monarch. What'd you do to get up to Level 3? I need some ascendant shard pretty bad as well. I'm a Level 25 Titan.

I've never really understood this mentality (the OP's). It assumes that season's outcome is predetermined, as if the players shouldn't be trying for wins, just get us to a safe position and coast.
I'm not saying we're going to win the league, I'm not saying we'll be relegated, I'm just enjoying the ride.

I thought it would be the stoke fans that would only read the first few lines. But, I suppose laptop huggers exist on all forums! And if any stole fans are reading this, you'll notice I sent it from my iPhone as any idiot knows, you can't type on a laptop whilst on a horse as you still need both hands, one to stop the laptop falling off and the other to bash it out!

I sent a tweet to NBC Soccer and they replied with a chart of games and channels and it shows Southampton being on the main NBCSN channel. This contradicts the Sports Live Extra site but maybe it was a last minute decision on their part. Most people don't want to watch mid-table clubs like Man U scrap out a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
