  1. Weird, right? Do they really do it just for kicks?
  2. Yeah, it's been updated to include Ben Smith as the author now.
  3. Again, Ben Smith isn't actually mentioned as the author of the piece (he probably is, mind - although, he does tend to take credit for his articles). But you're right, without sources, pinch of salt territory.
  4. It's football, mate, not Dispatchers.
  5. Frankly, I don't think people are actually reading the article.
  6. Have you guys actually read the article in full? There's new information in there, as far as I'm concerned.
  7. Well, I certainly wasn't aware that Lallana and Shaw weren't spoken to formally. Perhaps others were (aware). Edit: And the article seems to suggest that Lallana's discontent was the catalyst for other exits, rather than, say, Pochettino's/Cortese's departure (although I'm sure they were all factors).
  8. Yeah, perhaps. The article certainly speaks about Lallana in glowing terms.
  9. Veracity aside, "There was no attempt to persuade Lallana or Shaw to stay. Not once did a club official hold talks with the players to ask them to reconsider, to delay their moves."
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28593032 Enjoy.
  11. Solid enough. Presumably can't play against Chelsea though, so that's Targett pencilled in for two of the hardest games of the season
  12. Isn't that the problem though? Targett should be the backup (or at least have to earn the position from a more established player, rather than inheriting it).
  13. Should've been 'forced' to.
  14. Sound logic.
  15. Thanks for the info. Appreciated."which bid" suggests more than one bid, which is interesting.
  16. *gulps* Where have you got that figure from?
  17. Double post.
  18. You implied Morgan was similarly a mercenary. But yes, Schneiderlein should be displaying more loyalty to the club, you're right. Edit: On second viewing, perhaps you didn't.
  19. So you mention him in the same breathe as mercenaries then conclude that it's Saints that are mistreating him? Hmm.
  20. He's denied himself a move (which may still happen anyway) by signing a contract extension last year. And at the top-level? We're talking Tottenham here.
  21. An outburst on Twitter from his personal account.
  22. No, no, please don't. I'm merely debating the point, which is the point (of a forum), isn't it?
  23. Nah, man, you're entitled to your position. I'm not dismissing it out of hand or nothing!
