2017 cars being revealed over the course of this week.

Looks like this year's tech specs are producing the best looking cars in years, the lower wider rear wings make a huge difference in my book.

Sauber. Not a particular fan of the vertical fin on the top at the rear, but other than that I like it.

Force India. What's with that nose step?

Renault. Decent but with that vertical fin.

Mercedes. Looks to be a work of art this year, my favourite so far. Have to wonder if they're missing out with the smaller streamlined fin, but can imagine it's easy to retrofit if there's a benefit to be had there.

McLaren.

Ferrari.

And yet another shambolic engine from Honda. How hard can it be to provide an engine that's good for more than 1 lap in an entire winter break? McLaren should have dumped them after the disastrous first season. Same old same old, nice enough car but an absolutely crap engine that will be still a couple of seconds off the pace no matter what they do.

What happened to Lance Stroll today? Five seconds off the pace, even Giovinazzi (the Gp2 driver) was quicker. Part of me thinks he's been brought in for some serious sponsorship dollars and won't see the season out

Looked better today. Always notoriously difficult to read much into preseason times. That said, does look like Williams and Ferrari have taken significant steps forwards since last season.
