Golden Balls Posted 7 December, 2009 Share Posted 7 December, 2009 Managed to get tickets for the Leeds game today, and as is the case with most people, we're staying up there to make a weekend of it. Does anyone know of anywhere cheap to stay that is relitively close to the ground or city centre? Theres 6 of us on a tight budget. Etap is fully booked.... Cheers

saint peach Posted 8 December, 2009 Share Posted 8 December, 2009 Jury's Inn is good; stayed there the other week. I'd recommend etap but, as you said, it's fully booked. Travelodge is supposed to be pretty good, too. And, if I'm correct, there are two of them in the city centre.
Chopper71 Posted 8 December, 2009 Share Posted 8 December, 2009 Bewley's Inn is ok. Near the city centre. I know they do deals for footy fans (advertised at Elland Road) but not sure about away fans.
Golden Balls Posted 8 December, 2009 Author Share Posted 8 December, 2009 Jury's Inn is good; stayed there the other week. I'd recommend etap but, as you said, it's fully booked. Travelodge is supposed to be pretty good, too. And, if I'm correct, there are two of them in the city centre. Went for Jurys Inn. Travelodge only slept 2 per room where as Jurys sleeps 3 so works out quite a bit cheaper! Thanks for your help guys and girls
MongoNeil Posted 8 December, 2009 Share Posted 8 December, 2009 I'm staying at my brothers near-by the ground which is completely free, hope this helps.
St Michael Posted 8 December, 2009 Share Posted 8 December, 2009 The Commercial pub Holbeck, does b and b.Run by Peter Lorimer.Walking distance to town and ground! Word of warning - I work a minute's walk from this place and it is an utter hole. And Lorimer always tries to short change you, pretending you only gave him a ten instead of 20 etc! True story. Avoid!
