Huffton Posted 27 December, 2009 Share Posted 27 December, 2009 Heard from someone fairly ITK testerday that KD is virtually fit but still haveing a bit of trouble kicking. Bearing in mind KD's reliance on his long kicking during a game, what must be going through Forecasts mind to be replaced by him? I've not actually seen the guy play, is he that bad that AP thinks it better to have a less than 100% fit keeper on the bench instead of him? Kelv is club captain and therefore AP thinks it's better to have him on the bench than a young reserve goalie - if Bart were to get injured then Kelv could quite easily come on and just let a defender take the goal kicks. I'm sure it's better to have Kelv in the squad than a young, unproven reserve.

After all it seems like Michael Poke is 3rd choice given that we would not let Torquay play him in the FA Cup.

JackFrost Posted 27 December, 2009 Share Posted 27 December, 2009 TBH it baffled me as to why we signed him in the first place. Our finances were awful at the time and we already had KD & Bart

Saint Fen Posted 27 December, 2009 Share Posted 27 December, 2009 And Poke, who I genuinely believe is better than Forecast anyway. Most admit I agree Forecast is shocking, have seen him play on several occassions. Poke is a better keeper than him. Really Puzzling why we signed him! Kaiser Soze Posted 27 December, 2009 Share Posted 27 December, 2009 I saw Forecast in 90 Degrees a couple of weekends ago. I was rather drunk and told him a few home truths about his footballing ability, the look on his face was priceless.
