buctootim Posted 5 March, 2010 Share Posted 5 March, 2010 I nearly accepted a donation from Ashcroft to pay for some marine conservation work in Belize until it turned out he had threatened to depose the democratically elected government of Belize because they wouldn't grant him a freeport in the country to use as his own personal fiefdom and cash cow.
