Toomer Posted 13 March, 2010 Share Posted 13 March, 2010 As Leeds will have a large following today I sure we will see the usual message that the North Car Park will closed to the home supporters for a period after the game. When are the club and the local police going to get it into their heads that in the interest of safety, the best thing to do would be to keep away supporters of this size and dare I say it with some supporters who look for trouble in the ground for 15 mins after the game so that the vast majority of home supporters have cleared the stadium area. If this had happened in the game against them from down the road there might have been a good chance that the problems after the game may not have happened. I'm starting to think the old bill want it that way just so they can go taking pictures and gathering intel. In my mind if the away fans were kept in for 15 mins then there would be far less issues. Can you imagine the ob saying at Chelsea , home supporters will not have access to Fulham Broadway until the away supporters have left the new police tactics to a certain degree is to let violence happen, film it,then go and intervine. The recent chelsea cardiff match is an example where cardiff were not kept in,and it went off for a full 5mins before the ob did anything. They also only target the home fans. How many pics of skates causing trouble will we see on the front page of a newspaper? brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 13 March, 2010 Share Posted 13 March, 2010 are the police too busy taking photography courses instead of crowd control training. They have to measure the cost of buying all those expensive cameras on tax payers money

To be fair, some of them in the 11 are skates... the images are in their local rag as well. But yes, the new tactic is get as many banned as possible, they knew it was going to kick off outside, and stood back with cameras, I feel sorry for the non savvy lads that were hurling stuff at the skates in full view of the 'cops with cameras' ... they are going to be dishing out banning orders like jelly at a kids party.
