redandwhitey Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 First time we've driven up to Charlton this week, any ideas for parking near the ground? Interweb not that helpful (or at least the sites I have looked on)
Joe Kirkup Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 There are some industrial units towards the river only a 5-10min walk, might find space there
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 There are a few places around the ground that charge £5 for parking. Should be easy to find a space.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 I can't remember the funny name of the away pub, someone on here will tell ya, but as you come to the crossroads with aforementioned pub on opposite far side of crossroads, turn left and follow the little hill up and there is shed loads of parking. Fan The Flames Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 The pub is the Antigallican. I work in Bexley and will be parking near to Charlton House just a short walk down hill to the ground, bit of a steep walk back up but OK when you've won 3-1. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=SE7+8RE&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl

redandwhitey Posted 19 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 19 March, 2011 thanks chaps, that'll do nicely. Just over 2500 tickets sold now, should be a good night.
dune Posted 19 March, 2011 Share Posted 19 March, 2011 Plenty of on street parking. Do the obvious i.e hide valuables and remove mini kit etc and your car is at no more risk than any other.
