JackFrost Posted 3 May, 2011 Share Posted 3 May, 2011 (edited) BBC news ticker FORMULA 1:Rupert Murdoch's News Corp and an Italian investment company working on bid to takeover F1 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/13274848.stm Bernie has previously rubbished this but this seems to be latest news. Could this mean F1 is eventually taken off terrestrial TV and moved on to Sky? Edited 3 May, 2011 by JackFrost
Saint_Jonny Posted 4 May, 2011 Share Posted 4 May, 2011 Seems to be a massive conflict of interests in that to me..
Saint in Paradise Posted 18 May, 2011 Share Posted 18 May, 2011 What happens to the existing circuit contracts, like at Silverstone, with CVC Capital Partners IF Ferrari, Red Bull, Maclaren etc form a totally new company to run F1 when the present agreement with CVC runs out in 2012 ? Would CVC allow the new company to use "their" contracted circuits or would all new ones be needed ? .
