Crazy Diamond Posted 27 June, 2011 Share Posted 27 June, 2011 Hello! I'm currently restoring a 1963 Lambretta J Range Starstream and have encountered difficulty removing the clutch plates. I'm told I need a specialist tool but the one I bought recently wasn't the correct type. I'm in a crappy situation with it all at the moment, the kick start gear is missing nearly all its teeth and it's a rare model, so I'm unlikely to ever find a replacement. Luckily someone in my family said he can manufacture a new part, but I've yet to get to it owing to this stupid clutch plate casing. Any Lambretta men out there that can advise? I've had enough of the thing, I got ripped off when I bought it and its been nothing but trouble, so I'm looking to get it running and then sell it. mickn Posted 28 June, 2011 Share Posted 28 June, 2011 I'm sure you have tried already but have you tried any scooter/Lambretta forums?
