Gorgiesaint Posted 19 May, 2014 Posted 19 May, 2014 Heard about this as it was taking place but didn't have access to Sky Sports who would be the only channel who might have covered it. I know the game was delayed and eventually played to a finish but does anyone know the casualty figures? I'm assuming as they played on no-one was killed or appeared to be seriously injured.
SNSUN Posted 19 May, 2014 Posted 19 May, 2014 I saw the TV report, a small number went to hospital but I don't think anyone was seriously injured or killed. I don't think the game would have continued if there had been. I saw the groundsman using a huge grinder to remove the sharp bits though. I suppose it could've been much worse.
