Saint-Fred Posted 4 August, 2015 Share Posted 4 August, 2015 Found this link...Someone with far too much time on their hands but liked his commitment and found it quite thought provoking. What does the next 1000 years hold for us? Will we still be debating a move to a new stadium? In this sim world of FM it doesn't look like we have too much to look forward to in the next 1000 years although 3 champions league wins would be the highlight. Ever the optimist I was hoping for more over the next 1000 years but perhaps the FM programmers aren't aware of the 5 year plan? Wouldn't advise the Swindon fan to look though as according to this they will be the least successful over the period without even a cup final to look forward to...how's that for bad...1000 years to get it right just once and your team still don't win anything? You'd hope by the laws of averages to get a good cup run in that many seasons and get to a final at least once?
Wurzel Posted 4 August, 2015 Share Posted 4 August, 2015 From the comments section –]jesse9o3Portsmouth/Havant&Waterlooville 113 points 1 day ago It's kind of depressing to look at my favourite team (Portsmouth) and find that in 1000 years of simulated football we managed one miserable season in the Premier League and nothing more. Maybe "Who the **** is laughing now" needs changing too "He who laughs last laughs longest"
