Why not start Lee Molyneux?

JP has been quoted along the lines of we are only looking to bring in players on loan that are better than we already have. Are we then happy to sign/buy players that are NOT better than we already have? I mean why sign Molyneux if we are not going to play him?

We already had cover for Rudi in Surman and Mills, why then sign Lee and then sit him on the bench against Man U? Is this going to be another Forecast-style signing where we buy a player before his predecessor has gone out the door?

Is injured and not fit for another 3-4 weeks.

What about that young talent..Pulis.thought we were going to sign him..

Am I repeating myself or should I be writting to the medical journals about our treatment room.

Lee was struggling to get into Everton Reserves at the end..Mind you Smithy will save us.

Perhaps JP wanted as much experience in defence as possible for this match. Introducing LM would have made it 3 youngsters in the back 4 and I think we would all have thought that was too many. I hope he gets a match on Saturday and Skacel is played further forward.

I'm with adriansfc here, he hasn't trained too much with the current team so he was on the bench as cover, I think within the next 2 weeks we will see him working his way into the team....

I understood that he has been training here for weeks.

if we didn't want another youngster at the back then why sign him?

Let me just add that I have no problem with signng a left back, no problem signng a youngster, but what I do have a problem with is signing players only for them to not go straight into the first team. Signing squad players won't get us out of trouble.

but he was on the bench yesterday?

He is not fully match fit through lack of proper full 90 mins games..

Ready about Feb after about 3 maybe 4 reserve games. Wheres Pulis?

You can't come from third team/occasional Reserve games at Everton and go straight into CCC or cup games, no matter how much training you get.

Look at some of the others way off the pace and not lasting more than half or 50/60 mins.

Skacel has never really got fit and missed two consecutive pre season.

fair enough, I guess we didn't have any other defenders to sit on the bench.

Are we paying Pulis yet?

No clue, re the story around Pulis, other than he is not up to CCC standard and we have been paying his wages( mind you Davies playing at Stoke?) and he has only played a couple maybe 3 bit part games since injury. He has only played about 20/24 bit part games in 6 years, now aged 24/25 on loan to Grimbsy, Torqay, sorry saintjay, could never get the spelling right. Still get on yer tits janner.

Most of these youngsters appear from nowhere with no game experience and are expected to go into CCC games, unbelievable...If they are not injured when they arrive, the whole hamstrings will not last long before, medical room.

So is Thomson now not as good as Smith, OR THESE OTHER YOUNG RISING STARS IN ON LOAN OR TRANSFER.

Would we complain about breaking up the back four after the Reading game then?

Surely some sort of consistency (along with the previously mentioned experience) was the reason...

no arguement with that but again I ask why sign Molyneux? Are we selling Skacel, playing him further forward or have we spent money on cover (we have Mills already) when what we need is first teamers.

I would like to believe we'll see Skacel playing further upfield...as mentioned on other threads in the hole was always where i was led to believe was his best position...now we play a formation that allows it we play him at left back...it is utterly retarded...

In all reality it seems pretty obvious that he's off to me...to absolutely anyone that is willing to take his wages off our hands...

with Lee signed I'd of thought Skacel's move would have gone through as well if anything had been lined up. Perhaps he is here to stay.
