Penalty/Penalties v Boro

Not sure if this has been covered already within existing posts but wonder what the views are from those at the Northam end regarding the two decisions in the penalty area regarding fouls against Scienza, Larin.

From where I was sat it looked that the challenge on Scienza would have been given as a pen on another day.

It is easy to complain about the Ref, which I did during the game, but having reff'd games at amateur level in the past, I know how difficult it is to keep a hold on things, particularly when two teams are going at it hell for leather.

Neither was anywhere near a penalty in my opinion. Which, let's be honest, is the only one that really matters. 😊

In a match of this significance no referee is going to give either of those.

Nonsense.  I referee every match I watch. Either from the stands or my armchair. 😇

Besides, I'm nearly 77 years old and not as young as I used to be.

We have referees older than that at walking football they give plenty of penalties normally against me.
