offix Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 Maybe, just maybe, we will have to thank Ru**rt by the end of this season! By leaving us he has caused a massive upswing in optimism, and from all appearances a fabulous rise in attendance for the last 3 home games. It might just result in us surviving the drop (if there is no deduction) I am guessing that we might just be out of the bottom 3 tommorow by 5 pm. After that, anything would be possible. I'll be with you all in spirit, and i will try to scream the team on from here! COYR!

Have to say I have never seen the whole fanbase so united like this. Bumper crowds expected for the remaining games, celebs are lending their support and even the regular irritants on this forum seem to be getting along. TBF I don't think Lowe leaving has done this, more to the point of possibly going out of business has the rise in the attendance increased. Agreed, I do not feel the same sense of relief as last time we got rid of him, more a sense of......well, to be honest I can't put my finger on it. I was going to say sense of duty, but that seems a little melodramatic.
