  1. Ah yes, I think the final fee was claimed to be £20m which put him above Carillo at £19m.
  2. Can anyone remember a record signing that actually worked out? It seems the more money we spend, the bigger the flop.
  3. 3 straight defeats. Each one utterly boring.
  4. Given the position we were in, there was cause for optimism. However it seems the players were unaware and are already on the beach.
  5. Team is so dysfunctional. Most games the seem content to just have a kickabout and forget football is about scoring goals! Very bizzare.
  6. Martin seems unable to stop the rot and raise spirits now that automatic promotion is lost. A losing mentality has set in.
  7. As per Jo Tessem on the commentary. We lack any pace or aggression. Leicester wanted it more and moved the ball quickly. It's not rocket science.. Is this the managers idea or do we simply not have the right players?
  8. There is really no excuse for a capitulation like this. Especially after such a poor performance at the weekend. We are in a very low place and surely can't expect to do well in the playoffs if we persist with this dull, pedestrian style of football. What is the manager thinking..
  9. Oh dear. Totally outclassed by a side who have recruited far better with owners who understand how football works.
  10. This is why VAR ought to be used to rule out the really obvious errors and not offside by half a pixel.
  11. I think Coventry were a tad lucky with their late penalty in normal time. Wasn't much the defender could do. The disallowed goal sort of evened it out. But I think given the magnitude and how fine a margin, it should have been given as a goal. Penalties are 50/50.. Absolutely heartbreaking for Coventry fans and football. Another dull all Manchester final lies ahead..
  12. I can relate. If we went up, we'd be just as likely to be the next Sheffield United. A season of struggle and straight back down. Whomever has the most money wins with only a few exceptions (most hilariously, Chelsea). Football is broken..
  13. They don't have the mental strength to win the play offs.
  14. The team is so mentally weak. Seems to have been an issue for years. But I think the random flurry of late subs with apparently no instructions or tactics is what has caused the latest collapse.
  15. Yes, we wouldn't want to score a goal in the opening few minutes of the game like last week...
