Having Jones instead of yoshida on the bench shouldn't be too much of a step down, less experiance obviously but how confident do you feel with yosida getting on the pitch even for 15 minutes, heart in mouth every time the ball comes near him.

Should be a relatively easy win, considering they are bound to rest their key players. I was kinda hoping we'd have some youngsters on the bench hesketh or Jones, to sub them in if we're leading by a good two goals, i think they deserve it.

Vilhena seemed a good prospect, shame he's probably headed to inter, but I think that's a safer option than coming to us or the pl in general. May struggle for game time though. I just hope whoever we go for, that we make sure they are physically suitable to the pl, we dont need another juanmi or gaston or to some extent clasie.

cedric is a first choice portugal rb, although I don't think he's better than cuco, he's probably contemplating a move away on account of being on the bench too much. might be a first choice for other pl teams such as west brom, we should maybe sign some young hungry rb from lower tiers for competition and settle for cuco, but we already have mcarthy so

I think it would be perfect and fitting for us to effectively sh*t on their title chances, but just adding to their misery after they lost the fight would be just as good tho.

cedric is more powder puff, lots of twisting and turning but no real end product and gets bullied every game infact, I think sterling might have run rings around him today, but I think martina more assured phisically and solid delivery forward, relatively poor positioning but I think he will get better. well worth more than a mill.

you gotta love supporting this magnificient football club. one end of the season we talking about relegation, and the other end we're talking about europe after drubbing man city and arsenal in the process. everyone excellent except cuco who looked a little shakey and a little lost at the back but was still good at distributing the ball forward, tadic motm for me, actually afraid he's the one the big boys will be looking at in the summer, our very own ozil:-) tie him down to a 5 yr NOW! whoever we bring in for wanyama, I hope its someone with real passion and actual interest in playing for the shirt and not just perform at big games to showcase himself. as for mane I think it won't be a like for like, maybe an old fashioned winger or a no10 but I am not sure many clubs will go for him this summer due to stuff mentioned above, maybe next summer if he has a good season.

i'd take him too in fact, I would've taken him and romeu instead of clasie last summer. he's a lot more suited to the pl than clasie, physically and in his play style. I watched a couple of fayenoord matches like a few months back, and really thought he was impressive powerful runner with the ball, and in one of those matches he scored an absolute screamer, we need someone to do that for us a few times a season

romeu I think has got a bit of everything a cm needs physicality, good passing and a good shot, don't know what more ron need to see to play him instead of clasie alongside wanyama, jury's out on jwp, nothing special except set pieces
