Boufal looking like the player we are missing. Give him time he'll only improve
-
At least we agree on something
-
Behave Wanyama has been arguably tottenhams player of the season. Awfully underrated, it's unbelievable. Romeu has been fantastic though, and I wouldn't be surprised if a bigger team came in for him
-
A Midfielder breaking into the box and scoring.... who'd have thought it aye A shame we don't have a player that can or a manager that sets us up to get midfield runners in there
-
Still waiting for you to provide the games where you've been excited by our performances.
-
At what point has anyone said that's what he wants. No one can deny that the way we have set up this year is negative. You are by far the worst poster on this site as you cannot listen to any argument that is different to yours.
-
Look how much better we look when we move the ball quickly and take the game to the opposition. Let's hope Puel finally learns from the ****e first half
-
What a ridiculous comment. Because I disagree with how we've set up to play this year doesn't mean I'd ever wish for us to loose.
-
Would be ridiculous for us to sack him before the final (not sure this is what he was suggesting anyhow), but if he doesn't win the thing then imo his job should be in danger. A poor season
-
Unfortunately 'our days' are far to limited.
-
I have no doubt in my mind that the manager sets the team up to be defensive and to keep the ball. Fortunately against Leicester we had a number of player who had a good game (Redmond, PEH, JWP) and they (Leicester) are absolute pony.
-
Name the games we've performed well & you've been excited by then (ignore Liverpool away as semi final always exciting)
-
Covered off earlier in thread. Bmouth have bid £18m, now down to player. Played for 2 PL teams already this year, so can play for us for the rest of this season
-
It's not knee jerk, we've played like this all season other than a handful of games. People are sick of it.
-
Who's is it then? As far as I was aware the manager picks team / tactics. No doubt it wasn't his fault for us putting out the reserves Saturday eh
-
Agree. Not sure Sakho is the answer to our problems, but I'd be a hell of a lot more confident having him next to Yoshida rather than stephens/Gardos
-
Unfortunately you will be disappointed. Getting us to a cup final will buy him an extra 6 months. At the time, obviously I thought the win against Liverpool was fantastic, but in hindsight, looking at their recent results it really wasn't all that.
-
Absolutely ****ing pathetic once again. My god we've been **** at times this season.
-
Back to reality after a couple of good performances. Slow, predictable and very boring to watch. Midfield not good enough, nothing up front and Stephens struggling.
-
Really poor that we're in this position so late in the window. We've known since the summer that fonte wanted to leave, a replacement should have been lined up months ago, especially when we're given the black box spill every year and Les stating on any given opportunity 'we don't panic buy' 'we know who we're getting 6 months before the sign'. IMO season well and truly over if we don't get at least 1 CB in the next 3 hours.... starting to doubt it'll happen
-
If sakho is worth £20m (according to Liverpool) I'd suggest £18m is a bargain. I guess it depends on how his time there went on loan. Can't imagine bmouth would bid if there wasn't an indication of interest from agent tho?
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe he has played for Chelsea, so should be okay. Calling MLG to clarify.
-
I cannot and will not believe *****il 11pm) that Les hasn't realised how thin we are at CB and hasn't got something lined up. In other news, apparently Bmouth have bid £18million for Ake and it's now 'down to the player'. Exactly our sort of player. £18million a bit ott but that's what you get for leaving it so late. Time to put your hand in your pocket, Kat
-
That's fair enough. The snippets I've received have in the main came from a someone very close to Fonte, so obviously have to take with a pinch of salt. When I was told he had lost the dressing room I drew my own conclusions however.

Train from Liverpool going into London would go into Euston. It's possible that he could be on his way down here, as I'd imagine you'd either change at Birmingham or go via London for Southampton, however I very much doubt this the case, as the media would have picked up on this. Especially with it being Liverpool who can't seem to keep out of the papers.
