The fact is he was 10 yards out, 1-1 had time to take a touch and then slot it in. He chipped it straight at the keeper. That’s the facts mate.

Rubbish. A PL striker should be doing significantly better there. He tried being smart and tried chipping him rather than placing in the corner. Good from the keeper, but he has to do better.

No chance. Foot through it low and hard he gets nowhere near it. He chipped it straight into his arms.

Redmond is such a good player when he actually drives at people. I really don’t know why he doesn’t do it more. I can only assume it’s confidence.

As I said in the build up thread, when he’s unhappy, he’s not. Not a troublemaker as such, just more like a stroppy teenager. He should have left years ago. Very good player for us in his prime in the Koeman years and good servant but hasn’t been at it for years now.

And Puel and Pellegrino (although he was just incompetent).

When he’s not happy it absolutely is. I know someone who’s seen / experienced it first hand.

Out of interest, what makes you think that he’d sign a new deal just to be a back up here? A bigger club maybe, but not here.

He’s been a toxic player in the dressing room since his best mate Fonte left imo. Good riddance to him.
