Almunia needs more credit there I think, both saves were ridiculous, especially the second one when he was laid out on the floor with a tap in from 6 yards milliseconds before.
-
And the Hull v Cardiff match as well.
-
Final whistle at Watford, incredible (again!).
-
Troy Deeney sends Watford to Wembley, massive pitch invasion, game not quite finished.
-
Almunia makes an INCREDIBLE double save to keep Watford in it, they go down the other end and win it !!!!!
-
Ooh, penalty to Leicester in the 6th minute of injury time, looks like a dive from Knockaert too.
-
I read something on here t'other day about them being under transfer embargo and not being able to sign anyone full stop, but not really been paying attention.
-
I believe the OS may have some information on this.
-
Seems to be in line with Pochettino's "shop windowing" of talent we may wish to move on, or alternatively "Hooiveld's first choice now", which seems unlikely. I bet Forren gets on if we're 2 or 3 up.
-
Note that Mayuka is on the bench.
-
I've just decided to try and identify a scenario where we'd have to beat Stoke to stay up. And I've given up.
-
Watford score to make play-off 2-2 on aggregate.
-
Would you like to elaborate ? Is it just widely known within the club but people aren't allowed to say, is this a specific conversation you've had with someone involved in the kit decision or stock or whatever, are there changes in place behind the scenes, etc ?
-
Stoke leading Spurs 1-0 early on, which would mean we'd have to beat Sunderland and then them next week to have any chance of coming 10th. Also, Watford v Leicester in Championship Play-Off semi is 1-1 on the day with Leicester 2-1 up on aggregate.
-
No, we won't, Wigan need to win 2 matches, including one away to Arsenal before Norwich and Newcastle even come into the equation for us.

Fair enough. Having lived through the 1980s Newport County experience of promotion to tier 3, a Welsh Cup win and run to the European Cup Winners' Cup Quarter Finals, then a collapse to miss out on promotion whilst top of tier 3 at Easter, followed by two last place relegations out of the Football League and liquidation when bottom of the Conference, then reforming and taking 25 years to get back to the Football League, I think honestly I'd take "not winning anything" - although admittedly they won quite a lot of leagues on the way back anyway.

It's all about how long the signal takes to broadcast (eg bounce off satellites or arrive directly via radio waves). Come to think of it, I should have split SD and HD tv signals too, as HD is always about a second behind.
-
Analogue Radio 5 would get it first if we were the live match being covered, before (in order) DAB Radio, live terrestrial tv, live satellite tv, official streaming and unofficial streaming. Obviously people at the match take some time to post things although sending is all but instantaneous, but radio doesn't have the brief "time taken for typing" lag.

It's that kind of thinking that has seen the Skates where they are whilst many are still unapologetic for their Cup win despite the cost and debts they never intended to pay. Saints fans seem to be very critical of it usually. Is this widespread hypocrisy then ?
-
To be fair to Sturridge I think he's looked excellent most of the time when played as a lone central striker for Chelsea and Liverpool, he just seems to keep playing for teams who have world class strikers there ahead of him and gets shunted out wide. Welbeck I would say has a lot to prove, and Defoe is fine for the kind of striker he is, but doesn't link play much.

We will be in yellow. Because that's the only kit we have which isn't the same colour as their home kit. For completion : I'll be drinking, probably water or maybe a cup of tea, in my kitchen.
-
God knows how long ago, but it's better than it was, the mouseover zoom thing actually works and it's pretty responsive : http://ssl.saintsfc.co.uk/default.aspx We do appear to have sold out of adult away socks though, which probably only I care about.

Probability of coming 15th-18th if we finish on 39 points (%) 22 46 29 3 So more than seven times more likely to come 15th than go down if we lose both matches, and fifteen times more likely to come 16th.
-
Other way around, but you know that.
-
Would you like to specify what that is ?
