  1. A candy-stripe diagonal style was mocked up about 6 months ago on here. Looks alright, but there's a lot more leeway in rugby shirt designs (esp. Rugby League) than in football shirts. And anyway, we're getting stripes back.
  2. My money would be on the one quite near #s 39 and 41, seeing as I've based all of the subsequent photoshops I've done on that information. I'd actually forgotten that it wasn't the OP, so for the past 4 or 5 pages when I've said "the information from the OP" I meant "the information from that post".
  3. Well, it might be red on a central red stripe, so it would barely be noticable anyway. And I have to say I've been looking at it for about 6 months since the Cosmos kit launch and have never regarded it as looking particularly like a wang, so really anyone who thinks it is must be massively obsessed with penises. NB This will be the standard banter position for the next season, so please read and digest.
  4. Possibly one that doesn't have Lambert in it.
  5. I think they're basically all fine, though I'd want our stripes to be at least slightly different from Sunderland's.
  6. Looking at it with my cynical eyes on, Umbro don't tend to make skintight shirts, it's not a template that's been seen before (I could't think where I'd seen the triangle cuffs before, but there it is!) and the Umbro logo is way too big on the shirt.
  7. Can't see the West Brom kit being the template as that's the 2010/11 Sunderland shirt style as well. In fact West Brom's 2011/12 kit will probably be the same as the Sunderland one above - and ours can't be the same as that. Not convinced on the Huddersfield one as it's so generic and teamwear-like. The rumour about the Cosmos collar at least makes it different, even of all we get is the Sunderland kit with the stripes reversed and different collar/cuffs.
  8. I think you may be right about the fake. It also makes no sense to have black shorts home and away.
  9. New Sunderland away was a fake, so I've removed it... and reposted it below. On the bright side, at least we're not getting something like this (to be unveiled on May 17th) and horrendous mocked up Barca kit.
  10. Jeez, Cortese must love you. So aside from the fact that basically every other club does something different, that's how ST pricing should work? One other thing, the club has on a few occasions not put some away tickets for near matches on sale until the Monday after home matches, meaning anyone out of town has no choice but to come back down or pay the £3.
  11. Working out we may not have been sponsored by flybe by the time the extension had been built would have been useful as well.
  12. But it was always going to get voted for by the majoirty of Prem chairmen, seeing as all but about 6 of them are paranoid about getting relegated and losing out on the massive amounts of tv money.
  13. I actually agree with you on this, not sure why all Skate Cheat discussions have to be piled into a thread which I'm about 150 pages from the end of and will never bother to start reading again.
  14. I think our current first choice side are a comfortable mid-table nPC team, which would mean we lost about as many games as we won next season. There are a lot of crappy sides in the bottom half - remember how terrible you had to be to get relegated in 2006/7 when we'd dropped out of the Prem ? We sold an entire squad when Burley first arrived, brought in a load of temporary players, lost most of our matches for 3 months, looked utterly dire, yet never got into the bottom 3 and STILL had more than enough to beat relegated Brighton away. As we know from 2008/9 when we went down, things have to be seriously wrong to finish in the bottom 3 of that division.
  15. Your home ticket allocation was sold out to Bournemouth fans before our fans even knew whether they'd got a ticket, so unlikely that any Saints fans had bought one. Now if you're talking about Bournemouth-based people who were only there to see Saints, that's a different group to Saints fans who usually go to other away games.
  16. We only appear arrogant at worst because some of us have been acting like we're above League One, which we just proved we are. That's not arrogance unless we finished significantly lower than where we expected. But as others have said, making your match against us the big selling point of the season, and then failing to re-create that for a semi final which SHOULD be your biggest home game of the season just makes it look like it's all about a non-existent rivalry with Saints, even ahead of supporting your team in their bid to get to the Championship.
  17. You want this link : I right clicked your pic, loaded the Photobucket page and then clicked the "direct link" button on the right hand side to get the right URL copied. The other URL linked to the whole page, I think.
  18. Actually having just had a look at the table they're more likely to catch Wolves, a point ahead and 2 GD better off. And as it's Wolves v Blackburn, one of them will probably go if Blackpool get a point. West Ham and Wigan can mix it up a bit with wins tomorrow though. It's still not all that clear, other than Blackpool almost certainly needing a point.
  19. It doesn't change the fact that there were more people there for Saints than for the Play-Off Semi-Final, what a piddling small-club mentality that shows.
  20. Just to flag up that Blackpool's club record signing is DJ Campbell for £1.5m, so sod all chance of them giving us the money we want.
  21. Hardly sticking your neck out there, last game away to Man U and in the bottom 3 as of now with the only team on the same points having 2 games left. Basically if they don't get a result at Old Trafford they need to avoid getting thrashed and hope Birmingham lose heavily at least once.
  22. He's just been substituted, Ormerod's on though... along with Beattie !
  23. I want Swansea to go up because I hate Cardiff and it would be hilarious, and from League One, Bournemouth f'sure as it's a nice nearby away and they'll be hilariously bottom next season. As I type AFCB have a penalty and are 1-0 down... ...which they missed.
  24. Even in his spell at Blackpool he "went off" after 6 weeks, he's basically been the same everywhere, excellent when he tries and gash when he doesn't, and after 2 months the novelty has worn off. But if there's a way to motivate him. it's telling him if he performs, he'll get a move.
