Well done Hoj!!! A reward for better play in the second half.

Wigan were the better side that half. We look light in the midfield. Carrillo has not done much, his first touch has been poor, and the Saints defenders look panicky at times. The team don’t look confident. Hopefully a better second half will follow.

That was close for Wigan.

It took a bit of effort to get enthusiastic about him at the time. I remember that Guillem Balagué pronounced that Pellegrino was the dog’s ********, which helped. It was a mistake to hire him, and keeping him on this far into the season was an even bigger mistake.

Thanks for the summaries. I like what he has to say so far. His comments on the intensity of training are most interesting. Wouldn’t it be great if he could get creative players like Gabbiadini and Boufal starting in the team and firing on all cylinders.
