  1. Yep. It’s possible that McCarthy was expecting exactly that as well.
  2. A bit of uncertainty between McCarthy and Cedric for the goal.
  3. Well that didn’t last very long...
  4. Cedric with the challenging delivery. Poor defending by Mustafi.
  5. A decent chance for JWP.
  6. The death toll is up to 15 now. It’s a team of young men and teenagers. Heartbreaking.
  7. That’s the problem. It’s a relegation battle without any battle, so far. Hopefully Hughes can get them going, but the signs aren’t good.
  8. ..and thanks for the insult.
  9. For some reason I missed that...
  10. I must be missing something..according to the Beeb’s live table both Swansea and Huddersfield have 32 points.
  11. FT: Stoke 1-2 Spurs. Many home fans left before the final whistle, which was a bit of a shame because Stoke put up a fight.
  12. We’re 4 points adrift in the live table.
  13. It is true that other team’s fixtures mean nothing when Saints are playing as badly as they are. I’m still hoping that Hughes identifies the problems, particularly the underperforming players, and the team at least puts up a fight.
  14. Stoke really should have equalized, breaking 4 men against a lone defender. Diouf lets Spurs off with a poor pass to the lone defender when 3 Stoke attackers are wide open.
  15. Stoke almost equalize from a Shaquiri free kick.
  16. If I remember correctly Huddersfield have a couple of winnable fixtures and then a sequence of very difficult games. Hopefully Brighton can hold on.
  17. Forgot about that one.
  18. Propper gets red carded in the Huddersfield game. If the Huddersfield result stands we’d be 4 points adrift. Not even a miracle against Arsenal would get us out of the relegation zone.
  19. Stoke 1-2 Spurs- Kane.
  20. West Brom one up against Swansea.
  21. Loris dropped a clangar for the Stoke equalizer.
  22. Not ideal.
  23. Spurs 1-0 Stoke.
  24. If the team put in a performance and effort that was worthy of enthusiastic support, it might just happen. Instead, we have the Newcastle and West Ham debacles.
