I am sure at one point, one of players were down from a challenge. All of our players looked deflated, and was wondering why we didn't get given a free kick. VVD signaled for the player to get back to his feet. The ref hadn't called it, so we can't be caught sleeping. If only we could keep, he is our best player by a mile. Just after half time, I said to my mate, it would not be a bad ida to move him into a Midfield position (I know not his position, but I think he can do a half decent job there) but his leadership would then rub off, plus I think he could actually influence play from there too.

As far as I can tell, our only real positive right now is VVD. He plays his heart out every game, and gives a 110%. Tonight he was the only one of the team who showed fighting spirit. If we lose him, I don't know who can step up. Not just in terms of quality, but who can motivate the team and try and get things going.

Come on guys, as it stands we are going through. Show support rather than knocking us. I think we will come out improved in the second half.

I wanted Boufal to return the pass to VVD there, but you can't blame him for shooting, he is having a stormer.

Just think, if we can really get to them, and score 4 or 5, it will give us a massive lift going into the International break. Then can use that confidence for Liverpool at home.

Would like to see us really press them, and get a second. They look pretty woeful going forward.

Still slightly worried about our goal scoring options, but my word. What a great feeling to be a Saints fan over the past 7 seasons. WE just seem to be getting stronger and stronger. We may not pull off a Leicester, but I doubt they will ever again. However we seem to getting closer and closer to a consistant top side.

The season is really coming together nicely. Every team we have played we have made look poor. Now it is just adding the finishing touches. Boufal to add into the mix aswell, and we look a very strong team in every department. Even looking at our bench, we have great options.

Possibly because I watched a game on a not so clear stream, compared to watching the league games on Ruya. I am in complete agreement with you. I didn't really noticing the refereeing at all in yesterdays match, was a delightful surprise.

We have lost our way somewhat, and the players are getting frustrated. Very uncharacteristic for VVD give a free kick away like that. He is usually clinical in his defending.
