I read the Leicester City forum before the game and their fans were absolutely slating them, so I thought we had half a chance. I was surprised at how much they dominated actually and the number of golden chances they would create. The fact they missed them and gave us a couple of great opportunities typified what their fans were saying. But how many `average' quality teams playing poorly will we face between now and the end of the season? I guess Forrest, Bournemouth, West Ham and Palace are the big ones. None will be easy. But can we beat someone like Spurs at home?

If we play as poorly as that in the future games, we have no chance of getting five or six wins. There has to be massive improvement. Maybe that happens, but I can't see it.

Strangely, despite getting the win, I came away feeling less confident of survival. We were terrible in the second half. Leicester are a really poor side at the moment, yet they dominated and ran us ragged. It was such a hard watch. I was disappointed with Sulemana again. He showed his great pace on one occasion, but his control was poor and he looked a little short of confidence, choosing an easy pass rather than trying to take on his man. Villa offered just £25m for JWP. Perhaps his reputation/profile has increased, performances have improved and prices gone up, but I wouldn't get your hopes up to much about the size of transfer fee we are going to get for some of these guys.
