Have been impressed with how he has been willing to committ and come off his line to punch and catch in the last couple of games. Ok, so the execution hasn't been 100%, but thankfully the dropped catch and fluffed punch haven't been punished. Equally if he hadn't come for one punch we could have been in big trouble.

The 'score a goal and you must have played well' mentality sums up the lack of understanding of the game in general by football fans. Fuck Hoddle. I sat with seven neutral fans and everyone of them pointed out how shit our left back was. It's amazing how many 'good' players we have considering how average a side we are. I like Perraud. I love his work rate, but I'm sorry, he just isn't technically good enough and he's far too slow. I don't mind him being in our squad, but I want better than him.
-
widely regarded by the players at the club to not only have a great engine, but technically one of if not the best. Looked sharp on Wednesday. Time to drop Aribo and get him starting.
-
Did he? Perraud was absolutely fucking shit in the second half IMO. He got massively outpaced by Fredricks, who isn't quick at all. Opponents can pretty much cross at will. Just run in a straight line and you leave him in your wake and bobs your uncle, simple to cross the ball. He ran out of steam after about 70 minutes, yet I don't recall him leaving his own half in the second half. As a result his touch, passing and entire game went to pot. He mis-controlled and fucked up numerous simple passes that gave possession straight back to our opponent and placed us under pressure. When we moved to five at the back he was completely lost. Maybe not entirely his fault, but he and the midfielder should understand their roles by now. I was sat in the Bournemouth end, the same side at the Saints fan, so he was right in front of me. Couldn't get a better view of him if I tried. Woeful. Once he went off we tightened up. I hope Larios develops quickly. The position is his to take as Perraud is not the answer at this level.
-
Looked like his hamstring tightened but hopefully not pulled.
-
He certainly did. Maybe cameos at the end of games, when opponents are knackered, is the best way to use him.
-
Made one great save and a terrific punch when we were on trouble, but the cross that went straight through his hands was woeful. He was extremely lucky to get away with that. All keepers make errors. His are going unpunished. Long may that continue.

I thought he was pretty poor positionally. He's a big strong lad, but I did feel he dominated. Looks very slow. Hope that is rust, but not do sure.

Just back from the game. Decent first half. Didn't let bournemouth get any foothold into the game. Second half we let them get on top and then went further into our shell. Moving to five at the back made us worse, but I guess did its job on the end. Adams was the stand out player for saints. He bullied their CBs and gave us an out. AA worked hard again, and gave us another decent out ball, but once more offered little threat. Aribo was poor again. Perraud had a shocker of a second half. He's so poor and so slow even Fredrick's could just run past him. Thought all the fresh legs helped us and in the end caused Bournemouth to run out of steam. Happy with the won. on that showing, both teams could go down.

It works both ways. I couldn't get an away ticket for Bournemouth tonight, so in home end.
-
We've not even seen him come on from the bench, so to start him would be desperate. Edozie and Djenepo ought to start ahead of him IMO. At some point, one of these attacking midfielders has to do something. I thought we got rid of Redmond because we wanted more pace/chances created. Not seen much of either from any of his replacements.

I slated Aribo's performance on Sunday. He did nothing. There was no intensity at all, so you have a point. I struggled to know where he was even meant to be playing. Tracking runners is perhaps not his game, but in our set up it's required. Not seen AMN live in the flesh yet, so I won't comment on him. Our midfield certainly got run ragged by West Hams on sunday. JWP give up? He may not be playing well or effective, but not sure his effort can be doubted.
-
I would also drop him after Sunday. He looked miles off the pace and offered us nothing. In general I don't regard him as lazy. He certainly isn't busy and his languid style doesn't help. That said, he only really effects the game when he has the ball. He has great feet, but unless you get him in the right areas with the ball, he's ineffective. I'd like to see Edozie get more minutes. We need a lot more from our `flair' players (and have done for several seasons). Like you say, if he plays, he's bound to score.
-
he's looking to make a pass when he should be shooting on sight. I thought he worked really hard, can't fault him for that, but we need a forward that is brimming with confidence, and hitting absolutely everything for anywhere first time. He's not missing chances, but he's not taking opportunities either. It's on him to create half a yard and smash it in the to corner. He can do it. He did it at Blackburn, but his confidence was sky high then. That has long gone.

said it most of the summer, should have been in for Scamacca. Scored a shed load of goals last year and has the physical attributes needed to succeed in the Prem. Mind you, why would he ever have joined us instead of West Ham?
-
He was really busy, and worked his socks off. The only issue is that he doesn't offer a real goal threat at the moment. There weren't too many opportunities today, but in general, he hesitates, doesn't just shoot on site or even get himself into positions to score. Just because he has moved out wide shouldn't excuse this lack of goal threat. He badly needs to get one and then maybe another. It could all fall into place, but then again...
-
Hung on well, but pretty poor second half. That said we did well first.
-
Armstrong running into a troubek again, and losing the ball. Good stuff from Bazunu again. Liked how he has been committed today and come for stuff.
-
Great tracking by Armstrong. Lazy there and we are dead.
-
Carleta Car has a mare there.
-
Very important punch from Bazunu there. Good stuff lad.
-
why didn't Ralph make a sub when West Ham were all over us?. Don't wait for the goal, get in there first when you can feel the game running away from you.
-
has been all game. Looks lost.
-
Bollocks. JWP done by a one two, Carleta Car doesn't come out anywhere near quick enough. Been coming.
-
Maybe time fo us to make a change. Maybe get Edozie on for Aribo?
