We need to learn from that incident. Romeu was done for pace, we were short handed and fractionally better play from Watford and it would have been a much more straight forward chance. Cant remember of it was our own set piece or not, but that is certainly when we are vulnerable. Every time I see it happen I question the manager, the analysis that I assume happens, and the tactics put in place.

So many good performances. Redmond had a very good game again. Livramento too. Like Salisu bullying forwards and taking the yellow wen needed. Up front, we dint take the chances but we created them, which is encouraging. Credit to McCarthy. That save at the end looked a worldie. He keeps making them Bpsaint 😉

Fantastic performance. Ran the game from start to finish, but the save from McCarthy was a match winner. Tremendous stuff.

You are probably right, but some of the goals he has scored have been spectacular and I think he's regarded by officials at our club and others in higher esteem than by many Saints fans. Villa were clearly interested and they were looking to make progress just as Newcastle are. Newcastle won't find it easy to bring in world class players overnight. They might need to make intermediate steps.
